The first part of 2 Corinthians 6:14 reads, "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers..." Does this mean those who are not Christians or those who do not have another faith or belief whatever that faith or belief is?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It is basically saying do not get too close to people who may lead you away from God.
Paul goes on to say, Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you, (2 Corinthians 6:17) He is quoting Isaiah 52:11.
This does not mean we must separate from all unbelievers everywhere, just unbelievers who would lead us astray by incorporating things like sacrificing to idols or other forbidden practices. This can't mean separate from unbelievers all together because we must evangelize them. Saint Paul would have broken this commandment if it were to be taken literally because he traveled all over speaking to unbelievers.

I don't see anything in the passage or its context involving marriage specifically. It's part of a passage about the difference between Christians and the world. I think it speaks of any involvement that would lead us to compromise.

That is not what this verse is referring to. The context is speaking of idols.
2 Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Football is correct, we are not to associate ourselves intimately with unbelievers, lest they cause us to stray from God. Read 1 Corinthians 5.

All other gods or not believing in Jesus Emmanuel Jesu is not believing in Jesus Christ our Saviour.
