Please Respond!! URGENT to my question about church history!!!!!!!!!!

My name is Cam Patrick and I attend a Catholic school in Washington. I have a church history test coming up on and this is my main question.

I would like to know how these events in the church supported papal perspective and rejected it. So basically I need two viewpoints for and against these events dealing with the pope?

  • The Council of Nicaea
  • 5 and 6 ecumenical councils
  • 7th ecumenical council
  • 1st crusade
  • 4th crusade
  • Council of Trent
  • Quartodecimen controversy
  • The council of Jerusalem

Any other events that you feel are also valid in dealing with the early events in the church please add as well. This is a really genuine request and I really am grateful to whoever answers this. It will really help me do well on my Final Exam.

Thank you so much and please respond!!

You might find it helpful to ask your question in a Catholic forum. Most of us here are Protestant and would have a difficult time responding to your question.
He did post it on the Christian History board, which I believe is where it actually belongs, as it seems it would get more balanced views from both the Catholic and non-Catholic denominations.
