A TESTIMONY!
12 different types of tongues or languages! 1 Corinthians 12:10
I give the glory, thanks and praise to God the Father, in the name of Jesus, for the following testimony!
I have been a born again Christian, for about 28 years.
For about the first 15 years, I prayed only in one tongue or language, given by the Holy Spirit.
Then, after about 15 years, I heard a pastor on a Christian TV, say that we can ask the Holy Spirit, to give us more words, so that when we pray in tongues, we can speak more new words, given by the Holy Spirit.
I prayed about that and asked God to give me more words, when I pray in tongues.
Today, I pray in 12 different tongues or languages, given from the Holy Spirit. I can start and stop praying in any of those 12 different tongues or languages, at any time I want. I have been praying in 12 different tongues or languages, for the last few years.
Perhaps that is what it means in 1 Corinthians 12:10, to one person given different types of tongues. A few different types of tongues or languages, given by the Holy Spirit to one person?
I give again, all the glory, thanks and praise to God the Father, in the name of Jesus, for all the 12 different types of tongues or languages, which he has given me, by the Holy Spirit!
I believe that gift of different types of tongues, given to one person, is not only for me, but for every born again child of God! Absolutely! Amen! God does not have favourite Christians, and what he has given me, he can give it to anyone, if they so wish! I have this 12 different types of tongues or language given by the Holy Spirit, by the grace of God, and not because of anything I do! Everything we receive from God, is only by his grace! We are holly by his grace, saved by his grace and mercy, sanctified by his grace, and have the gifts of the Holy Spirit by his grace! We can never receive anything from God by our own effort, but only by his grace! Amen!
