1000 blessings!

For any self-proclaimed, well-known, established non-Christian on CF to take a picture of him- or herself with a Bible in hand and to post this prayer of salvation along with it:


"Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be."

This is to raise awareness of what it truly means to be a Christian: understanding and accepting the love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

If you're not interested in participating, or if this thread offends you, please simply ignore it.

I know, but it's better than nothing. At least they get a glimpse at what could and might hopefully be heartfelt someday...

They may get the 1000 blessings for doing it and not being sincere but if they are sincere they'll get the real blessing - Jesus!
