1. Do you thirst for God?
Knowing God is Heaven's treasure we can possess on earth. Jesus is our "Living Water" and will fill us when we thirst for Him!
2. Are you governed increasingly by God's Word?
Do you find yourself searching the scriptures to find God's will for your life? "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go. I will counsel you and watch over you." Psalm 32:8
3. Are you more loving?
An increased love for other Christians - for the lost - for your family - for those who are unlovely. "...love one another deeply, from the heart." 1 Peter 1:22
4. Are you more sensitive to God's presence?
The greatest of all spiritual and eternal blessings is the presence of God. On this our heart's strongest desires outght to be fixed.
5. Do you have a growing concern for the spiritual and temporal needs of others?
Those who desire to become like Jesus can check their progress toward His likeness by tracking this concern.
6. Do you delight in the Bride of Christ?
Involvement in the work of the church demonstrates your delight in the Bride of Christ.
7. Are the spiritual disciplines increasingly more important to You?
Whatever time and effort is required, the pursuit of intimacy with and likeness to Jesus Christ is worth it all!
8. Do you grieve over sin?
Our spiritual growth is hindered when we let pride prevent us from honestly reflecting on our lives and admitting our sins. Awareness and true repentance is a mark of growth.
9. Do you forgive more quickly?
True Christians love forgiveness. A ready willingness to forgive is a sign of growth in godliness.
10. Do you yearn for heaven and to be with Jesus?
The hope of a holy heaven, to be enjoyed in the company of our holy Savior, is a potent motive to holiness now.
