1 month visit

Owen had his 1 month dr. visit today - he put up some impressive numbers so I had to post it.

Let's recap:
Birth Weight: 10lbs 10oz
Birth Length: 21 1/2 inches long

1 month later:
Weight 14lbs 8 oz
Length 24 3/4 inches long




Go baby go! Daddy needs a good retirement package - here we come NFL!!

Umm...yeah..he's already in 6 month stuff. My wife, being the smarty that she is, didn't take tags of most of it - they are getting returned!

My daughter weighed 10 lbs 9 oz at birth and was 20 1/2 inches long. Needless to say I had a c-section. I am glad that your baby is dong well. For me the extra weight on the baby turned out to be a blessing. At her 1 month visit the doctor discovered a heart murmur and it turned out that she had quite a heart defect that kept her from gaining weight well. Had surgery at 9 moths and she's great now!(4 yrs old) But for the moms carrying big babies like that--I feel for every step you take--I've been there. Pregnancy with big babies is the pits.....

He sounds real healthy, GR! I only had tiny babies (my biggest being 6 lbs, 12 oz). Congrats to the proud papa and his family.

I beat you all. My son was 10lb 15oz. I dont remember how long he was. Too long.

10 pounds....... or more.... I couldn't carry a baby that big. But my son was still 21 inches at birth even as a lightweight..

Ok...I must brag on the wifey here...my boy was 9lbs 10oz and was delivered naturally in 7 minutes (the push part that is).....(the other two were natural also).

Sorry GutterRat...I know you guys had a wimpy CSection....(oops, did I really say that?)

Actually My mom had some really bad something or other and the doctors told her to abort me cuase they said I'd come out a little Screwy ... hehehe if they only knew how right they were...

I was pretty small ... i don't remember that kinda stuff though...


Congrats on the big baby though GR... i think... i'm clueless with this baby stuff.

Wow! That is tiny! My sister-in-law was around that, too. Mom-in-law says she fit inside a shoebox. My smallest was 5 lbs. right on the button.
