1 Corin 6:11 study

1 Corin 6:11 has always fascinated me and I decided to look at how it is in the greek and the tenses appear to differ.

I put the meanings from a lexicon below and would like to discuss each of the words in this verse and how they are used in the rest of the NT/NC.

Here is what I get from the greek text and not really sure of the tenses as this come from a greek interlinear I use. Thoughts?

628. apolouo ap-ol-oo'-o from 575 and 3068; to wash fully, i.e. (figuratively) have remitted (reflexively):--wash (away).

37. hagiazo hag-ee-ad'-zo from 40; to make holy, i.e. (ceremonially) purify or consecrate; (mentally) to venerate:--hallow, be holy, sanctify.

1344. dikaioo dik-ah-yo'-o from 1342; to render (i.e. show or regard as) just or innocent:--free, justify(-ier), be righteous.

I use the NIV exhaustive concordance that uses the same words in 1 Cor. 6:11:
washed: "apolouo" (666)- only used once, here in this reference.

sancified: "hagiazo" (39)- used elsewhere as God's will for us (1 Thess. 4:3) and in reference to an unsaved spouse later on in 1 Cor. 7:14. This actually confuses me. Are they "saved," and going to heaven because of their believing spouse, or just under the umbrella of God's favor and sanctification?

And finally justified: "dikaioo" (1467)- used to mean "freed, "vindicated," and "acquitted" among other terms similar to justified. I like the definition in this concordance that says "usually referring to God's relationship to humankind, implying a proper legal or moral relationship."

I know I basically repeated everything you said, but what do you think about that word "sanctified?" I know it means "to make holy," but how does that work when used in 1 Cor. 7:14?
