  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

It's hard for me to fathom how someone can possibly do this. Here are AV1611VET's stats.

  • Total Posts: 1,230,558
  • Posts Per Day: 847.90

847.90 posts per day!? That would mean 35 posts per hour, about 1 post every 2 minutes for the past 4 years! AV1611VET must be on here all of the time. How can this be possible unless he is constantly posting here and hardly breaks for food and drinks?

Yup -- and that figure is down from 855 thereabouts.

In some cases, I don't even look at the screen, except through my peripheral vision -- I'm concentrating on the numeric keypad on my keyboard.

I use my right index and middle fingers to type the number, and my left finger is always on the TAB button.

I go: number-TAB-enter-mouse wheel ... number-TAB-enter-mouse wheel ... etc.

In 5 minutes I can make almost 100 posts, using my keyboard shortcuts.

Why, AV, why?
Because the alphabet is too slow.

Numbers go up higher, and if I start over at -a- after I type -z-, I'll get a duplicate-post error message.

He could be paralyzed or suffer from some other physical handicap that makes him unable to leave his home, so I don't really like the "Get a life" attitudes concerning his number threads. If one can't live a normal life, I find it understandable that one tries to gain respect in an online community, for instance by having an unparalleled post count. In any case, if it makes him happy, that's all that matters.

Peter :)

You're right, there has got to be another reason why he's doing it, it's the creationism part that I don't understand,
if he is physical handicapped that's no reason to keep himself mentally handicapped as well.

I agree with that (and I'm not after reps). We must all have wondered how, and why AV posts so much, but that is his private business — good luck to him.

To translate from UK English, it means I wish you well.

Thank you -- but with what?

My next million?

Piece of cake -- ;)

No, AV, that's a form of materialism. Non Christians do have hearts, you know. All I'm saying is that perhaps some of us out here have a certain empathy for you, whatever your circumstances, even though you are only a remote internet acquaintance (and a bit of a thread-wrecker :)).

Would it be a big accomplishment for you to reach your next million? What do you hope to achieve by doing this?
a lot of things human beings do that they regard as significant, really isn't. sports teams are heralded as champions when they win, and sometimes get parades. but ultimately, all they did was win a game.

the Guiness Book of World Records is chock full of useless records, like the most hand claps in one minute.

humans just attach more signifigance to one achievement than to others.

AV would you consider yourself having an addiction susceptible personality?

Anyway I suppose different strokes for different folkes... I enjoy learning different named reactions in organic chemistry and you like typing numbers in counting threads.
