1 John 2:22-23, and 2 John 1:7-11, and Revelation 2:9, and Revelation 3:9, and Revelation 11:8, seem to agree with you on this point, at least to some degree.

This has traditionally been interpreted as 3 1/2 years, but the word kairoús has been used for a time period that is longer than a month but less than a year:

Galatians 4:10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.

This is the same greek word and same spelling as Rev 12:14. It is clearly used as more than a month and less than a year.

1260 days v6 + an unspecified amount of earth time that passes for the war in the second heaven

to take place v7-9 + the time/times/half time (a little less than the 1260 days due to the war in heaven time) v14 =

the seven years.

The 1260 days, the 42 months, the time/times/half time - although close to being the same - are not "exact" equivalents to each other due to the above nuances highlighted in blue.

The big mistake so many people make regarding the time frames in Revelation is they start doing conversions like would be commonly done in everyday life to reduce all the terms to exact equivalents to each other.

But they are not getting that the reason for the different time expressions in Revelation is due to the nuances involved. Putting together the string of events "correctly" to total 7 years, involves recognizing the nuances.

Consequently, when everything is said and done, "like term" expressions fall into either the first half or second half of the seven years.

First half
1260 days Revelation 11:2, 12:6

Satan being cast down to earth is not the beginning of the great tribulation. The great tribulation will have already begun.

The great tribulation begins with abomination of desolation statue image of the beast.

The war in heaven in v7-9 is after the two witnesses are killed by the beast.

In v6 the Jews begin to flee into the wilderness, because the great tribulation will have begun. Where they are protected from Satan and the beast in v14-16.

v17 is about the Jews who did not heed Jesus's words to flee into the mountains right away, when they see the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place, i.e. the temple mount.

The v17 Jews are the ones Jesus returns to rescue in Zechariah 14.

Why would they flee? They don't know of Christ's warning to flee nor do they believe he is a true prophet. Christ spoke to his disciples and warned about fleeing so that would be Christians in the area.

That's pretty much the majority and has been a long time.

Christians put value in the NT. The two witnesses will be referring to the NT and Matthew 24:15-31 and how it applies to Jews they will be witnessing to in that day.

I just don't see anything like that in the bible though. What I see is that the world hates them and are happy when they are killed. I think the only people who will like them would be Christians who don't commit Apostasy.

How does it make good sense that the ppl of the prince to come can be Romans 2000 years ago, but in the end of this age, this is no longer the case? In what way were they the ppl of the prince to come, 2000 years ago, when this prince didn't even come 2000 years ago to begin with, but is yet to come? If it doesn't involve ethnicity, what does it involve, this assuming Daniel 9:26 involves 70 AD, though I personally am not fully convinced that it does, but that is irrelevant and beside the point, in this particular case?

Perfect question. And a point I have been trying to make over the last 3 or 4 years.

Is the person a Jew or a gentile?

1. to become the Antichrist, King of Israel coming in his own name he must be a Jew. And descended from David.

2. to fulfill Revelation 17:10, he must be descended from the Julio-Claudians - Romans.

So somewhere in his family tree he will be descended from the Julio-Claudians - the Caesar family - Romans.

His mother will have to be a Jew because to be a Jew, in Judaism a person is considered a Jew if the mother is a Jew.

The ten leaders, for that last 42 months hand their EU kingdom over to him to become dictator of the EU, who will essentially rule the world as well.

The term Christ implies "the" messiah. "the" messiah in biblical context is a promised great King of Israel descended from David.

The Jews rejected Jesus as being that King of Israel.
