  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

According to The Will of God

“Make sure that none of you suffers as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or a troublesome meddler; but if anyone suffers as a Christian, he is not to be ashamed, but is to glorify God in this name. For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first...

    And They Malign You

“Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same purpose, because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, so as to live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. For the time already past is...

    The Will of God

“Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will...

    True To The End

I Delight to Do Your Will “I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your Law is within my heart.” (Psalm 40:8 NASB1995) This seems to be the day for personal reflection and for application of biblical truth to my own personal life. Where to begin? On 9/17/2025 at 12:30 a.m. I began to experience...

Do Not Boast, Worry, or Assume

Do Not Boast “Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth.” (Proverbs 27:1 NASB1995) “Come now, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.’ Yet you do not know what your...

    In Need of Prayer

My human body has been having some physical issues which have come to a head, and which now have led to my primary physician ordering a bunch of tests to determine what is going on inside of my body and to make recommendations as to what he believes needs to be done to reconcile these issues. My...

    Pray Unselfishly

What is prayer? As a child I learned prayer as ACTS = adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication. So it should not all be just asking God for something. And it is not a one-way conversation with God to where we do all the talking, and he does all the listening, and to where it is all...

This is The Will of God

“Finally then, brethren, we request and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us instruction as to how you ought to walk and please God (just as you actually do walk), that you excel still more. For you know what commandments we gave you by the authority of the Lord Jesus. For...

    To Those Who Love God

“And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; and these...

    Where are Your Passions Focused?

“Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing...

    Time Not on Our Side

“Come now, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit’— yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, ‘If...

    Preferring the World

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away...

I Delight to Do God's Will

“In sacrifice and offering you have not delighted, but you have given me an open ear. Burnt offering and sin offering you have not required. Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come; in the scroll of the book it is written of me: I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within...

I really like this girl, but how do I wait?

Hey brothers and sisters in Christ, 24, male I met a girl at the beginning of this year who I’ve really grown to like, I initially felt the Lord lead me to not rush into things so tried waiting (I knew she liked me too at this point) but someone gossiped to her that ‘I wasn't interested and a...

Teach Me to Do Your Will

“Answer me quickly, O Lord! My spirit fails! Hide not your face from me, lest I be like those who go down to the pit. Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. “Deliver me from my...

    "Your will be done"

If you find that whenever you try to pray, all you want to say to God is, "Your will be done," do you think that's a good thing or a bad thing? Who said the only two kinds of people in the world are those who say this to God and those to whom God says it? Shouldn't there be some people in both...

    Our Helper in Weakness

“Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to...
