This thread is not about people who are indifferent of icons or people who are not still comfortable with venerating them or use them in worship.
It is about people who are iconoclasts by principle and disapprove of other Christians doing it.

I feel there weren't any major issues regarding the use of Icons in the History of Christianity until Muslims appeared. I mean, we know how strict and severe Muslims are regarding images of any holy person and the issue happened in Eastern Europe (close to Muslim nations)
