  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    If We Love Jesus Christ

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.’” “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.” ”He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him...

    Listen to and Follow Jesus

At that time the Feast of the Dedication took place at Jerusalem; it was winter, and Jesus was walking in the temple in the portico of Solomon. The Jews then gathered around Him, and were saying to Him, “How long will You keep us in suspense? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.” Jesus...

    Do Not Refuse Him

“See to it that you do not refuse Him who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape who turn away from Him who warns from heaven.” (Hebrews 12:25 NASB1995) In context, the one who warned them on earth was Moses. He warned...

    An Advocate with The Father

“My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world. “By this we know...

    Entering Into God's Eternal Rest

“Therefore, let us fear if, while a promise remains of entering His rest, any one of you may seem to have come short of it. For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also; but the word they heard did not profit them, because it was not united by faith in those who heard. For...

Do You Know Him in Truth?

“By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. The one who says, ‘I have come to know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that...

    Yet They Did Not Obey

And the Lord said to me, “Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, ‘Hear the words of this covenant and do them. For I solemnly warned your fathers in the day that I brought them up from the land of Egypt, even to this day, warning persistently...

    You Formerly Walked

“And you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh...

    Blessed Are Those Who

Based off Psalm 119:1-48 How blessed are those who walk with Jesus, Who walk with Him in all His ways, Who listen, follow all His teachings, And in their hearts they do not sway. They seek the Lord with all their being, Intent on keeping His commands. They love the Lord, to be His witness –...

    Nowhere to Hide from God

“’Can a man hide himself in hiding places so I do not see him?’ declares the Lord. ‘Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?’ declares the Lord.” (Jeremiah 23:24 NASB1995) The land is full of adulterers. Their course is evil, and their might is not right. Prophet and priest and pastor are...

    Devoted to Christ

Devoted to Christ, I will be on this earth, So thankful to Him that He gave me new birth. Surrendered to Him to now walk in His ways, To follow His lead now throughout all my days. Forgiven of sins, I now walk in His love, As He gives me comfort from Heaven above. I talk about Him and His...

    Make Known His Deeds

“Oh give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples. 2 Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; Speak of all His wonders. 3 Glory in His holy name; Let the heart of those who seek the Lord be glad. 4 Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face continually.” (Psalm...

    Toward Those Who Fear Him

The Lord is compassionate and gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness. 9 He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever. 10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. 11 For as high as the heavens are above...

    Quick to Hear

“This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger; for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God. Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is...

    Deny Self and Obey God

“Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge. Beware of The Evil Workers

“Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision; for we are the true circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh.” (Philippians 3:2-3 NASB) “The dogs” being referred to here, in this context...

    Lay Aside the Old Self

“So this I say, and affirm together with the Lord, that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind, being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart; and...
