    Equality Act

Since at some point in time, somewhere in the world, some Black man might have robbed some White dude in a mensroom, Black men should never be allowed to use a White restroom, right?

    Equality Act

It appears as if there are those who simply cannot abide treating this minority or that as equals. There must be 'reasons', however unlikely, this should not be allowed. How very sad.

    Equality Act

I grew up in the South in the 50's and 60's and recall these same arguments used to support the "right" to express 'God given beliefs" in the treatment of Jews, Interracial couples, and others. Some things just never seem to change.

Trump’s illegal $70k tax deduction for haircuts

If he actually spent 70,000 on that hair, the poor man was robbed blind.

Hallmark channel pulls ads with lesbian kiss due to conservative complaints

One might ask the question was Hallmark ever asked to remove the ads with heterosexual couples kissing by gay groups? There might be found the difference and the world that gay Christians live in.

This Is The Most Important Religious Liberty Decision Since Masterpiece Cakeshop

Which Which begs the question, if it were an interracial couple and the business objected to such based on religious or other reasons could they refuse based on "compelled speech" ?

What does it mean that TEC is suspended now?

As a 67 year old gay Episcopalian who's partner passed away several years ago, before church marriages were allowed, the very idea that TEC jumped the gun would be laughable were it not painful. We are real people with real lives and, yes, our relationships do matter. I am sorry the Communion...

What does it mean that TEC is suspended now?

Because of the rules of CF there are limitations on what can be discussed here, but if these obligations require that a member church violate it's sincerely held beliefs, and return to "rules" which it now understands to be hurtful and, to speak plainly, verging on unchristian, then, for many of...

What does it mean that TEC is suspended now?

I think it is true that many of us consider ourselves as members of TEC first and as members of the Anglican communion second.

Target being boycotted by a million americans....for liberal policies

I am old enough to have grown up in a world ( the South ) where many said it made them ill to see an African American man kissing a white woman. Most have outgrown that. Sadly, some never will.

Justin Welby: Anglican split over homosexuality would be a failure but 'not a disaster'

Which, again, brings us to the same point. The industrialized Western Churches, or at least many of them, are clearly moving in the direction of SSMs and are not likely to be stopped by endless threats and punishment. Indeed, the more of this occurring, the more we in these Churches begin to...

Justin Welby: Anglican split over homosexuality would be a failure but 'not a disaster'

I seem to recall something about Parliament including in the act allowing for ssm that the CoE was not to be allowed to perform them. Is that correct? If so, would it not require an act of Parliament to change this?

Justin Welby: Anglican split over homosexuality would be a failure but 'not a disaster'

TEC will not repent of what it clearly does not consider to be an error in the first place, and no amount of "correction" from the Anglican Communion either now or in the future is going to change that. As was been suggested, it is likely that at least a few other Communion members in the West...
