    Disbelief in Church Teachings

Well apparently since there is no assurance of salvation according to a few people on OBOB (who don't know their catechism -- CCC 162, 80-82, 1489, 1989) there's no real way of being sure who's going to Heaven or Hell... did God leave us Sacred Tradition and the Church for nothing?

How can one get to Heaven?

As a Catholic, what does the Church teach is the road to salvation? Did God not give one for us to follow? Is there any assurance of eternal life from God's side of things, or is He capricious?

    Disbelief in Church Teachings

What about the disbelief of some Catholics that Jesus's blood buys redemption and those who reject the grace of God are hell-bound?

But does he also report than 80% of all sexual abuse cases are done by married men, 95% done by a member of one's own family.

Because several cases, like that of Cardinal Bernadin in Chicago, were dismissed because the plaintiff lied... many use this as a way to "get revenge" on priests, or have had therapists "suggest" so-called repressed memories of sexual abuse that never occurred. I don't have stats on those but...

    Devils attacks when witnessing?

Spiritual attacks are real. Of course Satan takes no pleasure in our evangelization of others and is out to get us (cf. Eph. 4:24-27, 6:11; 1 Tim. 3:7; James 4:7; Rev. 12:17) but "the devil made me do it" excuse is weak. Through Christ, we are dead to sin and we know what we must do.

Making one's personal interpretation of Scripture one's God...everything is relative in Protestantism based on personal interpretation and what it means to an individual alone apart from the Body of Christ and teaching authority -- cf. Eph. 4 & 1 Cor. 12; Luke 10:16... (Calvinists and Arminians...

What does the church say about...?

Do not be discouraged, my sister. In the Lord there is forgivenness and redemption, for ALL who turn to Him. We cannot let the sins of people be a stumbling block to our growth. Rather let them point out to us our CONTINUAL NEED of a Saviour, for we have all sinned and fallen short of God's...

Catholics MUST believe in a literal Adam/Eve

Not at all! There was ONE man through whom sin came into the world (cf. Rom. 5:12)... that's all that matters. The rest (in terms of "theistic evolution) can be reconciled to this reality by various hypotheses.

    Geocentrism

I know exactly the guy and article! Oh well... in either way the Church is not "wrong" about this because the Church is not concerned about science -- only faith and salvation. The Church stated that heliocentrism or geocentrism have no bearing on salvation and our relationship to God, so if...
