Muslims are fasting . . . so you can't eat either.

I agree 100%. Though even this can't top the "pork rain" debacle.

Man sues McDonalds for not holding the cheese

At most (being extremely generous), he could be entitled to a refund and medical bills (which he was offered). However, if you read what he's actually suing them for (intentional infliction of emotional (not physical) distress, the burden is on the sca-- erm, victim to prove that cheese was put...

Man sues McDonalds for not holding the cheese

This smells like a set-up to me. This guy bought two QPs in Morgantown, WV, then drove 40+ minutes home to Clarksburg, WV (38 miles away) straight into a dark room to eat what has to be a freezing cold burger (or, given the weather and source, a disgustingly warm haven for McTeria). Why on...

    NRA is pro-terrorist

"Right now law enforcement carefully monitors all firearms sales to those on the terror watch list" I think that that is reasonable. Mere suspicion is not a good enough reason to deny them rights. Besides, its not like their inability to legally purchase weapons will be a deterrent, if they...

Limbaugh's "Barack the Magic Negro," on-air song has workers up in arms

How about reading the article that the parody was based on? http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/la-oe-ehrenstein19mar19,0,5335087.story?coll=la-opinion-rightrail Paul Shanklin is no Weird Al, but there's no reason to attack Rush over this. If the content is offensive to you, attack Mr...

    Mental illness and Virginia Tech

An article that I read this morning quotes his grandfather as saying he was autistic. Not sure about how true this is, though.

    Mental illness and Virginia Tech

I'm not talking about kicking anyone out of school, but not allowing them to live in dormitories. Since this thread is about Virginia tech, we're talking about a man who set his dorm on fire, had stalked at least two women, had threatened, in words or actions, his professors and fellow...

    Mental illness and Virginia Tech

I support medical privacy and all that, and I don't believe that people should be "branded" for mental illness. But if a COURT deems you "a danger to yourself and others," as was the case with Cho Sueng-Hui, you should not be living in dormitories. Do you argue with this?

    Question to 2nd ammendment supporters....

There have been several instances where this has been shown. One example: In Kennesaw, GA, the town passed a law in 1982 requiring the head of every household to own a gun and ammunition. Crime rates plummeted. Here's some data up through 1997 (I will look for more recent data later)

Why should I buy energy efficient light bulbs now?

Yes, in fact, you would be mistaken.

Why should I buy energy efficient light bulbs now?

I'm one of those who notices the difference between incandescent and fluorescent light bulbs. They give me headaches almost daily, and trigger migraines. I certainly wouldn't want them in my house, unless they are indistinguishible from the incandescent bulb (or at least worked properly on a...
