Sandy that makes sense! i always heard Catholics pray to the dead but they are praying to the saints. Ok! am I getting more confused? Do you pray to or for the saints?

Jason, what is the difference in praying to someone like mary and asking her to intercede for us? either way , isn't it praying?

It does help Jason, but Jesus said to pray for to the Father in my name , correct? seems clear how we are to pray. Where does the Bible instruct us to literally pray to Mary?
