I am nothing with out God.

I agree that life is meaningless in an ultimate sense without God. I also agree that humans’ ultimate worth comes from being made in His image. That said, in my experience, it isn’t helpful to tell non-Christians that we are “nothing“ without God. Better to just share the gospel.

    How do I fear God?

If your fear of everlasting torment is dim, you haven’t thought about it enough. More to the point, fearing God is mostly about revering Him for who He is and what He’s done: His majesty, power, etc. It’s not about cowering in fear as if He is going to strike you down. On the contrary, He loves...

To be honest with you all

Don’t try to listen for a “voice.” Repent of your sins and ask God to be the Lord of your life.

To be honest with you all

Well, no one can help you with that but God himself. But he won't help you unless you sincerely ask Him to change your heart.

    How do I fear God?

Place your faith in Christ and ask God to renew your heart. That is the only way. Also, I'm not sure what you mean by "fear" God. The "fear" that God wants is the reverence, awe, and respect that is due the Lord of the universe. He doesn't want us to cower in fear.

To be honest with you all

So are you playing games instead of seeking legitimate advice now? What is the point of your post? And blaming your parents for your own choices isn't going to fly with God, my friend.

I am nothing with out God.

I don't know any Christians who have said this specifically. I think you may have misunderstood. What the Bible says is that we are all sinners and deserve eternal separation from God because of that. However, Jesus died and rose again to redeem us from our sins, and if we believe that, we will...

How do I look to Jesus?

No one is a hopeless case. Have you imprisoned, tortured, and killed people, including Christians? Paul did, and he wrote much of the New Testament.

How do I look to Jesus?

God doesn’t want you to reprogram your thoughts — only the Holy Spirit can do that. It’s part of the process of sanctification, which means becoming more like Christ after you become a Christian. Also, none of us can approach God the Father on our own because we’re all sinners. The only way we...

    Pray for me

I don’t see how praying to a God you don’t already believe in (or at least acknowledge the possible existence of) could make you a believer. That is what I meant. I do believe that God sometimes chooses to answer other people’s prayers for someone‘s salvation.

Why do you feel that it’s too late for you to believe in God?

    God spoke to me

As a lifelong Christian, I can say with confidence that God speaks to me through the Bible and occasionally through the advice of other Godly people. I don’t hear a voice in my head, and honestly I‘m skeptical of those who claim they do. In my experience, the vast majority of the time people...

    Was jesus a nutcase?

OP, I haven’t seen a clear statement from you in this thread about why exactly you think Jesus was a “nutcase.” Maybe you’re just trolling. But if you’re serious, please provide evidence for your assertion, and I would be happy to respond.

    Pray for me

This depends what you mean by "works." If you mean people always get what they pray for, clearly they don't. That's a good thing, because God knows what's best for us more than we do. The Bible does say that if you pray in accordance with God's will and with faith, you will get what you pray...

    On The Risen Christ

I think this shows a good amount of self awareness. Too many atheists or other nonreligious people simply accept naturalism de facto and then say that miracles are impossible, God doesn't exist, etc. Of course, that's begging the question. I don't really understand what you're saying here. Are...

    How do I get started?

I would say not to go it alone. Find a Christian who you admire and ask him/her about their faith -- why they became a Christian, what following Jesus means to them, where they go to church and why, etc. I would also carefully read the Gospel of Mark. It's a good place to start learning more...

I am afraid I am losing faith

I agree these aren’t good reasons to become a Christian. However, there are many excellent ones, starting with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus — all of which are well-documented in history. I would encourage you to examine that evidence. Start with “The Case for Christ” by Lee...

    Remission of Sin

ClearPerspective, I agree with ViaCrucis. In addition, I would encourage you to think about this issue in terms of how seriously God takes sin. Any sin separates us from God. Unless we accept what Jesus did on the cross to redeem us from our sin, this separation will last for eternity. God does...

    SHOULD CHURCHES DISCUSS POLITICS?

That depends on what you mean by politics. Pretty much everything is political at this point. Advocating for a certain candidate or political party is absolutely not what a church should be doing (and is illegal for a non-profit). That said, churches should discuss issues that are discussed in...
