Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

Anyway, only dropped into the website again for a short stay, must go. It is non productive seeing others woodenly quote the letter and making statements that bear no reality to there's or anyone elses lives. No stimulating conversation possible

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

He has saved you from the condemnation of sin, if you do not understand you still commit sin in your flesh, you are in trouble, for the Holy Spirit is the convictor of sin. So where is the Holy Spirits conviction in your life?

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

I will not join people who woodenly quote the letter without understanding the message contained in it. Nor will I join in hypocrisy. You are nowhere near sinless in your flesh. You would do well to remember the following: The measure you use to judge others will be used to judge you Matt7:2

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

According to your belief, to dwell on impure thoughts means a person cannot be a born again Christian for they commit sin, bring forth fruits of the devil, and Christians cannot commit sin. Don't water it down now

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

I see these websites have not improved much. People woodenly quote the letter where it suits them, that bears no reality to there's or anyone elses life, but believe they are qualified to preach the word. Reading the bible is great, but, if you cannot understand the true message in it, you are...

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

Yes I understand. You needed a saviour from sin at the point of conversion, and possibly until you got baptised, but not after that

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

BTW I'm curious. If a teenager who had just reached puberty became a Christian and got baptised, would you tell them if they dwelt on any impure thoughts they were heading for hell for the old man was not killed, they were bringing forth fruits of the devil, and born again Christians cannot...

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

So you as a born again Christian do not need a saviour from sin do you, according to your belief.

JESUS and the APOSTLES OBEYED GOD'S LAW and the SABBATH!

No it is not ok to murder, commit adultery or covet. Those things would convict me of sin and every other born again believer. Do believers covet? If you understand what that entails, yes they do. What is not ok is to recite the letter and demand people obey it or perish. For that is...

JESUS and the APOSTLES OBEYED GOD'S LAW and the SABBATH!

Romans1:20 does not refer to born again Christians in whom the Holy Spirit dwells!! I actually agree with you, the Holy Spirit is the convictor of sin, which I am afraid, shows your beliefs to be contradictory. And if you believe you obey the ten commandments, that is testimony to you not...

JESUS and the APOSTLES OBEYED GOD'S LAW and the SABBATH!

You stated: Strange how sin is defined as transgression of the law, and when one transgresses the law, the Holy Spirit leads one to repentance and through the work of the Holy Spirt helps one fight against and overcome sin (which is transgression of the law) Unquote According to your...

JESUS and the APOSTLES OBEYED GOD'S LAW and the SABBATH!

If you wish to respond to a post, you should address the point made. If you accept as Christians people who are not convicted they sin by failing to observe a Saturday sabbath, you have to accept the Spirit is not convicting them of sin regarding this.

JESUS and the APOSTLES OBEYED GOD'S LAW and the SABBATH!

You can only be a Christian if the Holy Spirit dwells in you(Rom8:9) You accept as christians(people who have the Holy Spirit dwelling in them) I assume people who are not convicted by the Holy Spirit they sin by failing to observe a Saturday sabbath. There must be something errant in your theology

JESUS and the APOSTLES OBEYED GOD'S LAW and the SABBATH!

That is a false statement as written. If anyone under the old covenant could have obeyed the written law there would have been no need for Christ to die at calvary for peoples sin! Jesus himself affirmed no one fully obeyed the law: Has not Moses given you the law? Yet not one(not one) of you...

Loving Jesus enough to obey Him ensures salvation

Reborn people cannot commit sin? I guess they have no need of a saviour from sin then. Father and Spirit will do?

JESUS and the APOSTLES OBEYED GOD'S LAW and the SABBATH!

Some good scriptures, but with misunderstanding sadly. John 14:15 If you love me keep my commandments I am sure you do not even try and obey each and every command of Christ The Ten Commandments The fact you appear to believe you obey the Ten Commandments shows your lack of understanding as...
