Also kids, to get an idea of how fast 1000 miles/hour is... When you get your license, get into mommy's car and drive into the highway at 70 miles/hour. Pretty fast right? Now while driving, imagine 1000 miles/hour... That's how fast the earth is moving. Amazing...right?!

Except this is not an accurate illustration. Lets consider something like a blender with viscous liquid. The liquid near the blade moves at a faster speed than liquid near the edge. So do the clouds below moving faster than the clouds above? Do we see this when flying?

Lol. Kids, hope you're observing? Whether you believe a lie, or the truth, is really up to you. These people say, the layers of gases called clouds are moving at a speed of 1000 miles/hour! And when we look up, these clouds manage to stay in the same shape. Isn't that amazing?? Amazing!
