actually i had worse affects after doing the yoga meditation. i have health issues ,like i said, was told it would help,and my pain got worse. reading your bible and praying DOES help! but if one is just reading to read, without the holy spirit,it won't have any affect, reading a book doesn't do...

not your post, but the idea of new translations being better/more accurate. it is very popular thing. that is why mega churches use niv etc, they never go into the meat of scripture they just feed people milk then ask for money. it is unfortunate. :(

[Staff edit]. it was something the catholics changed. Jesus actually died on a wednesday,and their days started different. ours is at 12 am, theirs is at 6pm.

i disagree, i believe KJV to be the word of God, and the new versions literally call Jesus satan,how can you say that is okay? when you compare scripture and really study it, you know.. plus knowing the new versions came from westcott & hort,and they didn't believe Jesus was God. dangerous stuff.
