    PSA, an essential Christian doctrine.

I accept your apology, no grudges here. So, guilt by association, correct? I completely disagree with your last statements above as they are borne of bias. Bro, seriously, your disdain for these two isn't remotely Christian behavior.

Watch a “Calvinist” preach the Gospel of Grace:

Not even close to being true, but that is OK. Is there anything else you'd like to falsely accuse me of?

    PSA, an essential Christian doctrine.

"Scoff?"...sigh... Many know persons can pick whatever ECF they want to be their authority. They include "more than Augustine?" A low and unnecessary blow. Why act like that? Your biased and discourteous response is duly noted... I'm certain I was courteous.

Hard pass. But you can assert what you want on me, doesn't matter.

Watch a “Calvinist” preach the Gospel of Grace:

I've heard Calvinists being charged with works salvation due to the adherence to evidence of conversion, so-called "Lordship Salvation" among other things. But antinomianism? Lol! I heard one the other day trying to lay that charge upon us, and it was a desperate and baseless reach.

    PSA, an essential Christian doctrine.

The test of PSA being true or not true doesn't rest with the ECF's, but whether or not it is found in Scripture.

    PSA, an essential Christian doctrine.

IIRC there were ECF's who stated subsitution, facing wrath &c early on. It wasn't "formulated" at that time as some of the other theories perhaps were, but it was still there in the early church teachings. Also 1 Peter 2:24; Isaiah 53:1-12 teach these things, so it is not like it is outside of...

Watch a “Calvinist” preach the Gospel of Grace:

The Lord's Supper does show forth the Gospel in Christ shedding His blood, and giving His body as sacrifice for us though.

2Pet 3:9 does not mean that God "wants" everybody saved. Part 1.

Not that Greek is of no matter here in 2 Peter 3:9, but I will make comment on this text. What matters is the context and audience. When Peter says "...is patient toward you" he is referring to the audience of the epistle, the elect, that all of them reach repentance, thus it isn't to the...

Sure, keep telling yourself those fables. I preach the Gospel just fine, in spite of the discord you want to sow.

Watch a “Calvinist” preach the Gospel of Grace:

I didn't know Calvinists preached the Gospel. I keep hearing they don't and that they are anti-evangelism, which is kind of weird since they are still around, lol! Wonder how that happened? ;)

    Am I Saved

Luke 8:12 solidifies the spiritual state of the different soils. Unfortunately too many are out there preaching they're all saved therefore falsely assuring some that aren't...

    Am I Saved

Thanks for your thoughts on this. Of those in the parable of the soils (Matthew 13:18-24) who would you say were genuinely saved?

    Am I Saved

I highly doubt the salvation of the alleged incestuous man. I believe he came to salvation only after being cast out. He did bear 'the name' of brother which does cast doubt upon it being a reality imo. I believe the NASB get's it correct in saying 'so-called' brother. BTW the usage of...

    Am I Saved

Yes this is true. However the 'we' is qualified by passing the tests in 1 John which are proofs of being either genuinely saved or lost. That is to whom the 'we' refers to in 1 John 5:13 and none else.

Christians are not going to be judged by the ten commandments.

Not quite. It's not our decision, it is His; John 1:13; Romans 9:16; James 1:18.

Christians are not going to be judged by the ten commandments.

So Christians, 'those crucified with Christ' don't sin?
