The notion that, under the Old Covenant, men and women were saved by keeping the law...well, that is not true. Anyone who was "saved" (whether past, present, or future) under the OC was saved by faith, through the grace of God. And the same thing is true under the NC. Nobody was ever saved...

You're biting at fleas, guys. The point is, they were saved by grace...not by works of the law. I'm not going to argue the timing with you...the Bible says that they looked forward to the promise, and that's all we need to know. The point, again, is that NOBODY was EVER saved by keeping the law...

Agreed...not everyone will be saved. Unfortunate...but we all must make our own choices. However, we're talking about the men and women of Hebrews 11...heroes of faith. Now, did their faith save them? Or.... not????
