    Unwanted Groinal Responses

Are you under the care of a psychiatrist? I cannot emphasize enough the importance of getting medical help. OCD is caused by problems with chemicals in the brain. I receive medical help for my OCD and it is an absolute godsend and frees me from my disorder.

Which church should I go to for deliverance?

Are you under the care of a psychiatrist? Audible hallucinations are the result of a chemical unbalance in the brain. I myself am bipolar with a very long history of hearing voices (along with catatonia). If I am on an effective anti-psychotic medication I don't experience of such symptoms.

    Any good Christian documentary DVDs?

I HIGHLY recommend this documentary proving the validity of the presence of the Israelites in ancient Egypt, the Exodus, and the the events surrounding Mt. Sinai.

Will Movie Theaters Become A Thing of The Past?

Personally I don't go see movies at theaters anymore because none of the films are worth paying $10 to see. Last movie I saw was "Spectre" and I swear I thought the movie would never end - my point being that studios permit movies to be way too long which is a change when one considers film...

    Heathers

I would have preferred Batman Returns if the character of Penguin had been written in a less grotesque manner. He was simply abhorrent.

A conviction from God or was it just a coincident?

God doesn't speak to people through coincidences like the one you are describing. More often than not, He will speak to believers through scripture so we can test our assumptions through the reliability of the Bible which is to be our measure of the truth. If people "experience" spiritual...

    The Story so Far

I highly recommend seeing a psychiatrist to achieve a proper diagnosis. OCD is strongly linked to disruptions of serotonin levels in the brain which proper medication can address. As a sufferer of OCD myself, I will say that counseling will get a person with the disorder only so far. While it...

I accidentally, asked punishments from Gods in order to prove to them that I am not pretending

Are you under the care of a psychiatrist? I too have OCD and have a strong propensity for intrusive images/thoughts along with obsessions. Proper medication as prescribed by my psychiatrist has proved to be a massive help as OCD is strongly linked to disruptions in brain chemistry which can be...

    First time here

It sounds like you could benefit from professional help. I struggle more with obsessions than compulsive behavior and have found great relief from SSRI anti-depressants as prescribed by my psychiatrist; mine med really keeps my OCD manageable. This classification of meds addresses the chemical...

I rarely ask, and may be the wrong thread, but I'm asking for prayers if you could

I'm going to attempt some practical advise. Try getting a hard ball like a baseball or softball and lie on your stomach on the floor. Place the ball between the floor and your thigh and move around and work out the tender areas in your front thigh. This may help because the frontal thigh...

    Mold Sickness

As someone who is sensitive to mold, I avoid peanuts (despite loving peanut butter). I do know that cheese and vinegar harbor a lot of mold as well.

What secular music are you listening to now?

I listen to jazz only, as in Miles Davis, John Coltrane, and Duke Ellington. Jazz has been my salvation since I walked away from both Christian and rock/pop music.

    OCD and Idolatry: HELP!

Are you under the care of a psychiatrist or even just a therapist? I myself have OCD and can more than relate to your obsessions. You are not dealing with idolatry but rather a biologically based disorder - OCD is rooted in disruptions of the neurotransmitter serotonin which proper medication...

    Accepting BPD Diagnosis

I have been treating my bipolar disorder for nearly 25 years now and have learned quite a lot about managing it. For one thing, I would go off my meds (often cold-turkey) in the blind delusion that I was somehow cured of the disorder; then I'd go psychotic and get severely fearful and...

What would happen if someone was incorrectly diagnosed?

You need to talk to a psychiatrist - that is the only reliable source as the internet can be misleading.

    Is it gone ?

Are you receiving regular care from a psychiatrist? I am bipolar with a long history of psychosis (and catatonia) and need to take daily medication in order to function and be stable.
