Faith in Heaven requires faith in Christ. This comes by hearing the word of God through preaching. There is only one way to Christ, not be works, not by being a good ol' boy. Only this way:

Two types of election, corporate and personal. There is a election of the body of Christ and the personal election between you and God. Neither determine salvation as we have a free will. Just my opinion. :)
