I really like Chopin's E minor prelude. Lately I've been playing Angel of Music a lot. I just like to play. No, I'd never heard of Yiruma before. I just googled her stuff, though, and it seems pretty cool.

My favorite thing to do is probably play the piano. I can spend hours on it and not even notice that I'm late for class. I've accidentally missed my lessons before because I was having so much fun practicing.

I was raised Mormon. My mom was a Mormon her whole life, my dad used to be Catholic before he got baptized.

    yOung and ready to date

Go out and meet people. I see nothing wrong with hanging out with people who believe differently than you do, and in the process of meeting people you could well find people who do believe like you do. As for the dating thing, don't go out with a nonbeliever with the intent to convert her...

Sometimes I think my relationship is too awesome.

Be careful not to lose a great girl because you're worried it's "too good." If there's actually a reason to worry, examine it and decide based on what you know. Maybe talk to her about it. I'm not completely sure if that's a good idea, but it seems like it'd be better than breaking up because of...

dating someone who has "different" beliefs

The verse about not being unequally yoked doesn't mean you can't talk to your dad at all. There's no problem with associating with people who believe differently than you do; it's even a good thing. Dating them is another thing, though.

    21st Birthday Celebrations

I don't drink, but for my 21st birthday my roommates and I bought non-alcoholic drink mixers and mixed them with white grape juice. SO MUCH FUN! :D

dating someone who has "different" beliefs

Abraham went to great lengths to make sure that Isaac married within the faith. Esau married outside the faith, to the great sorrow of his parents. The Bible has lots of references to people marrying outside the faith, and it normally doesn't end well. I'm not saying that it absolutely cannot...

    Ask away then!

Sorry if this is weird, but I've been asking just about everyone I know lately. What is your opinion about voting third-party, and what reasons do you have for that opinion?

Help my sister is going to hell

Love her and try to set a good example, but don't be self-righteous about it. People can tell whether or not you're being sincere. Also, why do you think she's going to Hell? You don't have to give any kind of details, but I know that I've been condemned to Hell by many well-meaning people who...

Struggling between being patriotic and a Bible believing Christian.

If the laws of the land aren't in line with the laws of God, I agree they need to be changed, but shouldn't they be obeyed in the meantime? If the law says you have to kill your children or something heinous like that, obviously you won't follow it, but if it's relatively minor, like overtaxing...

    Introduce Yourself (2)

Hi. my name is Emilie. I'm 21. I was active on another forum as a teenager, but I kind of outgrew that one, and now I decided to look for another place to chat with people. Because online is obviously the best place to do that :p I looked for a Christian site, because it seemed safer than just...
