    My two new goats

Nadine! What a great goat name! They sure are cute. I wish we lived somewhere where we could have goats and chickens (etc). They're great to have because they're a seemingly endless source of food and vitamins. Alas, we live in the big city. Cute goats though!

    1,000 Ways to Die

The show is funny for about 5 minutes before it gets repetitive and old. And the puns are cringe worthy for sure. But I find myself putting it on from time to time if there isn't anything that's actually worth watching on tv and I need some background noise. As for not good for Christians to...

Sorry to intrude... just a quick question!

That makes sense. I appreciate the insight. I often find myself at odds with many American Protestant Christians. The fact that European and American Christianity often differ is a good idea as to why.

Pat Robertson believes Peyton Manning should get hurt this year

:amen: Pat Robertson can talk about whatever he wants. That isn't going to stop me from calling him out on stupid comments.

Russell Crowe Reported to Set Sail as ‘Noah’

I am aware of these films. I was just wondering what exactly defines a"secular" film about a story that is obviously religious. How do you secularize a story from the Bible without losing it's integrity? Sorry I wasn't more specific.

Sorry to intrude... just a quick question!

2nd Gen. German living in US here. This is 100% true, for my family at least. My parents and grandparents were raised in Germany as Presbyterians and are considered very liberal here in America. They taught me to consider the bible as a jumping off point and to look to the parables of Jesus as...

Whitney Houston drowned with cocaine in system: LA coroner

The pressure for celebrities is often much harder than it is for us average joes. How would you feel if the country was watching your every move and judging you for every little thing you did? Celebrities are held to a much higher standard than the rest of us. We demand that they perform...

Atheists holding Reason Rally in Washington, D.C., this weekend

I won't even address the first part but I will say that, regardless of the job situation, if you feel strongly enough about something, you'll make time. I have a job too but I make a point of going out and protesting against things I don't agree with. If you aren't excercising your rights as an...

Whitney Houston drowned with cocaine in system: LA coroner

I think it's so sad to see so many celebrities go this route. There are so many sources out there to help cope with stress and depression, drugs and alcohol aren't the only option. I only wish they didn't cave under the pressure of their peers and that whole community, pushing them towards...

Atheists holding Reason Rally in Washington, D.C., this weekend

You have to keep in mind, all belief systems have rallys and protests from time to time. Even us crazy Christians. If you want to get something done, sometimes you have to speak out. I think the thing with Athiests is, they have no community. We have Churches and ministry and leaders and a...
