    The Gospel of Jesus' wife

What a dated sexist thing to suggest. The apology was made simply because after rereading my post it was due. Absolutely nothing to do with gender. Bish

    The Gospel of Jesus' wife

An acerbic tone was not the intention. I do apologise. If as you say marriage is not a sin according to the scripture, then why would the discovery that Christ was indeed marry discredit? Bish

    A light hearted topic.

I saw a production of Peer Gynt which left a lot to be desired. A favourite of mine was a production of Dr Faustus by Christopher Marlowe, which transfixed me. The production included paintings by Goya which were part of an ongoing rectification in art process. Truly wonderful. How lucky you...

    The Gospel of Jesus' wife

Why was Christ's raison d'etre `not part of God's will for marriage?` Are you suggesting that every aspect of life was written into the bible. Therefore if it's not there it clearly didn't happen which ultimately means that it, whatever it may be, shouldn't exist today? Or perhaps the...

Completely agree, however when I discover a piece of literature which rambles on about sex, the size of animal penises` how it is a sin to eat shellfish and then proceeds to warn me of the danger of wearing clothes made of mixed fabrics I tend to dismiss that as nonsense. Bish

The irony in all of this is... Leviticus and all it's `finery`. Apart from stating "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination". what else does Leviticus condemn? Let this chap explain. OUTRAGEOUS THINGS IN THE BIBLE Mock it, I pretty much split my sides. I mean...
