Why are atheists considered to be so dishonest?

Oh, so its a blacked out brain? Friendly.. not really. But then, is this is a place for being friendly with Christians? I guess those who don't identify as Christian accept that they aren't going to be afforded quite as much respect as those who are. (Then there's the whole thing about whether...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

I'd really like to know that if it is not 144,000 people who will be saved, why not, what a "spiritual number" is, and no, I have never been a JW, but I've often talked with them (and had to turn their lovely offer down every time because I'm way too likely to ... cause them problems with their...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

    Question for creationist and "evolutionists"

To be Devil's Advocate for a sec (unless that term gets me a ban in which case I .. am just bein a nuisance) .. Well.. sounds pretty poetic to me. Why not? Yeah, maybe a little too much. It would be like Scientology dropping the "alien overlord called Xenu" story on brand new recruits, it...

    Need a listening ear please

Hi Caroline, Its great the school seems to be taking what action is can to make sure your lad is taught in ways he can benefit from. As for the socialising aspect, I checked out mencap.org.uk (I'm not allowed to do links yet, I think I'm still too new here) and if you go to the "Families"...

Geraldo finally concedes that 911 truthers may be right.

A brief Google tells me he is about as reliable as the Daily Mail. It took half of the 8 minutes I'd have lost watching that, so I reckon I'm ahead 4 mins and several braincells. (It is a well known and popular fact that watching certain "News" channels and reading certain British tabloid...

    My AV1611VET Challenge

I have modified my theory in light of AV1611VET's reply, and have added a third alternative, which I now belive to be most likely. No, I'm not telling ;)

Either you're all attempting to troll a troll, or you really don't see that the member in question could well be a human who also sometimes uses a bot to post.

If you were the leader of the nation you live in...

This is a huge problem in democracies - governments and opposition parties do what they have to do and say what they have to say to stay in power/get power back. It seems they barely ever make long term plans, especially not if they are likely to annoy the electorate.

What are you listening to right now? (8)

I don't think I can link yet but I'm watching the original verision of "You Got The Love" by The Source & Candi Staton. I do like Floren'ce & The Machines cover, but the video.. I thought maybe not appropriate here as she is writing around with bare legs lol.. but you know, I'm glad I looked...

If you were the leader of the nation you live in...

I tend to agree with you. Current tax and welfare schemes forcibly redistribute resources that in an ideal world would be the happy task of the richest to distribute to the most needy. I generally have a positive view of humanity, but it is all the evidence to the contrary that prevents me...

    Love Thy Neighbor?

Imagine if the only thing your neighbours knew about Christians was from reading Wiccan websites ;) I think its great to be straight up and tell them you're Christian, the same way I suspect they are straight up about being Witches. I'm also glad you let your own experiences reassure you that...
