    Mormonism is wrong

From what I gather, Reformed Egyptian is simply Egyptian that was slightly altered to make it easier to inscribe on brass and gold plates. If you've ever tried to inscribe on metal, you'd understand why the ancient prophets of the Book of Mormon reformed it.

    A Question for LDS

There is no mormon jesus. We believe in the same Jesus, just not as to his metaphysical form... but His grace is sufficient to account for this, unless you would deny the power of Christ. Do you?

    Brass Tacks

Christ is merciful. The LDS who accept Him are saved, according to orthodox Christianity, because Christ's atonment is powerful enough to account for differences in metaphysical belief. To say otherwise is to artifically limit the power of Jesus Christ, or rather to deny His power. I will not...

    We Are Christians

Scripture please to support your statement? The Nicene Creed is NOT scripture. Besides, we believe that God the Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit are ONE God with three separate, distinct entities who share a spiritual bond beyond mortal comprehension, making them one in purpose, focus, and...

    Brass Tacks

The point is simple: under the current belief system of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the atonment of Jesus Christ, and in light of the infinite power of the atonement and Christ's endless grace (which accounts for the difference in belief re the origin and nature of...

    Brass Tacks

Perhaps, but we are not talking about what the LDS require for salvation, we are talking about what orthodox Christianity requires. And if you read the OP and the second post by Ammon, you will see that the argument is that LDS qualify for salvation under the dictates of orthodox Christianity...

You twist the wording to your liking. Read the scripture I cited above, which answers your question, if you understand what it says.

    The LDS temples

That is not what it says. I am reading it. It is the unauthorized number that is at issue, not the taking of more than one wife. (See D&C 132:28-39 @ http://scriptures.lds.org/dc/132/38-39#39 .)

More than one... but I know not the precise number thereafter.
