I encounter many, (and I mean A LOT!) of atheists who said the were once Christian but no longer are (due to various reasons). My question is, were they even saved to begin with?

I'd like to know a few things... Who did Jesus Pray to? Is Baptism Necessary for Salvation? Is speaking in tongues a necessary sign of salvation? According to the OT, God was seen. Since this is true, who was it that was seen?
