Christianity has gone through the same period as Islam is going through now, and eventually the violence will stop there as well, pushing them will only make it worse.

I was merely trying to prove the flaw in his logic, by using another example. Some might say he is a good christian because of that, but I say he is wearing blindfolds. If every non-christian was like him with their belief, there is no way Christianity would gain any followers.
