I think many people have got one or more symptoms of BPD. It is not unusual when you get upset by an annoying piece of information and that doesn't look like a mental issue to me. We all have a right to believe and do whatever we want to. If you think that you don't have other symptoms of BPD...

Might I also add that it is not so easy to classify everything in this world as ethically right or wrong like most of the people do, it's like choosing to believe what suits us...

I am not sure about the trust part with him but I am very open to that friend and I get concerned also, but anything beyond friendship is not just in our case. This is the reason I avoid talking to him much cos I am not bold enough to face any kind of hurt.
