    Greek Cypriots: "OXI!"

It means that you're not actually a guy who speaks from personal experience when discussing the Cyprus issue. :) I wouldn't want you getting any unmerited sympathy now... ;) What? Dude, you got skin thinner than an onion. I'm gettin' back to it, honey. Just busy with...

Father of Columbine victim told to 'Get a Life' when challenging NRA

Just a second, cowboy. You asked me about kids shooting people; you didn't ask about gang shootings. If you wanna change the goalposts now, that's fine - but please don't pretend that I didn't answer your question. Relevance? They were still kids. Relevance? Relevance...

Father of Columbine victim told to 'Get a Life' when challenging NRA

Well, it's a price Americans are prepared to pay for their right to exercise the 2nd. :sigh:

    This is Scary!

I have a friend in England who's told me that the local Muslim groups have told the radicals that they're not wanted in the neighborhood and have used local council laws to prevent them from setting up a youth center that would have been used to recruit young Muslims into the extremist party. :)

USA Army defaulters claim asylum in Canada

I never disputed this for a moment. My point is that they are perfectly justified in leaving that war if they decide that it was launched on unethical grounds. No, I'm not aware. :) It's already been proved illegal by experts in international law. I don't need Congress and the courts...

Father of Columbine victim told to 'Get a Life' when challenging NRA

I haven't, but I'll do so now. :) BTW, I don't have a figure for every child who's killed another person, so I'll keep it simple and post a list of all the US school shootings that I know of. (Not all of them resulted in fatalities, but that's not the point.) For the purpose of this...

USA Army defaulters claim asylum in Canada

A guy is entitled to change his mind about his military service - especially if he realizes that he was sent to fight an illegal war on behalf of a draft dodger who launched an unprovoked offensive on the basis of a lie.

Detroit Suburb Expected to Allow Muslim Prayer Calls On Loudspeakers.

OK, if that's your view, then surely you'd agree that church bells are "imposing religion on the whole neighborhood", right?

Detroit Suburb Expected to Allow Muslim Prayer Calls On Loudspeakers.

Doesn't mean you're gonna understand a 2-minute call to prayer, though. These Christians being quoted in the article just aren't makin any sense. :sigh: It would be a bit childish, but I wouldn't have a problem with it if that's really what ya want to do.

Med student flunks for saying no to abortion.

...and once again WND deliberately distorts the story in order to push their propaganda. Thanks for pointing this out. :) I have a question for the folks who like to quote from WND and NewsMax - does it trouble you that these two sources are regularly shown to be misleading...

He's not from Cyprus, he's just an American. :D He likes to change his flag to show support for whatever new cause he's discovered on the Internet.

    Greek Cypriots: "OXI!"

How so? Doesn't mean it wasn't legitimate. :D That's right. :) LOL! Uh, so the Greek coup was a pretext for the Turkish to enter Cyprus? How does that work? And the Turks didn't "conquer further Greek territory", they simply came in to protect their...

Detroit Suburb Expected to Allow Muslim Prayer Calls On Loudspeakers.

Stop me if I'm wrong, but Christians have never been in the habit of using loudpeakers to call the faithful to prayer. The practice is unique to the Muslims AFAIK. I think it's great that they've been allowed to do this. LOL! The prayer calls aren't made in English...

    pictures being showed

Nope. But I'm not claiming that they've all given their consent. In fact, I'm not claiming anything about them at all. You're the one who's said that the pictures shouldn't be shown because it will offend the families. So I'm asking what evidence you have to show that families have been...

    pictures being showed

Surely if even a few families had complained, the media woulda been all over it. Right? And if you don't know if any families have complained, how can you use their alleged offence as a valid argument against pictures of the coffins?
