I was made to feel very welcome the first time that I entered into a Presbyterian church (PCA). I had e-mailed the pastor earlier, and when I arrived he made me feel very welcome and told me that they were praying for me. And ever since then I've tried to attend there as much as possible.

From what I know about him (which isn't much), I don't think he is either YEC or TE but is ID (Intelligent Design), which is an OEC belief.

I got one a few months ago, and I find it to be very useful. The notes are very helpful, and I think the translation is well done. I got a hardback which was about $26 on amazon.com, but I'm not sure how much a leather one is.

I hate how the main factor for some people I know in determining what church to go to is the music, as if faithfulness to Scripture and administering the sacraments aren't important anymore (I know that they don't actually believe that, though). It's almost as if P&W is the new sacrament now...
