    Immortal Soul or Mortal Soul?

The simple fact that Paul acknowledged the possibility of him having an out-of-body experience is convincing. Why did he question if he did in the first place?

    Immortal Soul or Mortal Soul?

I don't believe that presents any contradiction with what I believe, Paul even held the belief that one can exist outside of the body while talking about being caught up in the heavens. (2 corinthians 12:2)

    Immortal Soul or Mortal Soul?

When talking about a soul, "Nephesh" isn't the best word to describe a soul since Nephesh means "life" or "being". I would go with "Ruach" meaning "spirit". I believe in an immortal disembodied spirit.

Martin Luther edited Bibles are wrong!!

Sir, all of Christianity rests on Wisdom ch.2. Jesus would have died with it pierced on his chest. Besides, these books were in the Septuagint, written centuries before his birth. The apostles quoted from it, very jewish.

    Young Earth Vs. Old Earth

Doesn't 1 John 5:16 make it quite clear that all sin does not lead to death? "If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for those who sin not leading to death."

    Purgatory? Current RCC standpoint?

Wisdom 2:16-20 He judges us debased; he holds aloof from our paths as from things impure. He calls blest the destiny of the just and boasts that God is his Father. Let us see whether his words be true; let us find out what will happen to him. For if the just one be the son of God, he will...

    Purgatory? Current RCC standpoint?

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH, YES HE DID. Read the entire chapter of Wisdom 2. It foreshadows Jesus's life. Mary quoted from Sirach 10:14 in Luke 1:52, Elizabeth quotes from Judith 13:18 in Luke 1:42. Besides, your argument is illogical, Jesus only quoted from about 5 old testament books, what about...

    So what happens after death?

Actually, there is biblical proof for purgatory, however it's mostly in the deuterocanon which protestants refer to as the "apochrypha". Catholics believe these books are inspired, and if you don't agree then read Wisdom of Solomon chapter 2. There are passages that refer to Jesus as the son of...

    The Bible Doctrine Concerning Death

Also I forgot to add, in Genesis 15, God said to Abraham, "You, however, will go to your fathers in peace and be buried at a good old age." Abraham wasn't even buried with his fathers, "Terah lived 205 years, and he died in Haran." - Genesis 11:32. However they were both in Sheol, one in...

    The Bible Doctrine Concerning Death

I do not agree at all. Using scripture from ecclesiastes isn't going to help either. In Ecclesiastes 9:5 it also says: ..."they have no further reward..." Is it true because i've heard Jesus say in Matthew 5:12 "Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven." Using scripture...
