Four police officers reported shot in downtown Dallas near scene of earlier protests

Doesn't even phase me. I think he was just proving a point and I heard it was unloaded. I guess I'm so used to seeing guns in public though that it doesn't even get a second glance from me. I'm glad he's been cleared though.

The body of the baby snatched by an alligator in Orlando has been found :(

The problem, apparently being that nature exists and man can't control it.

    Alligators, at Disney World?

I'm not from Florida either. I was born and raised in Indiana and I knew that. I have friends who are Canadian and THEY know the same. Location isn't an excuse for ignorance, as there are people from all over the north, midwest, and other areas who know all about how dangerous going into...

    Alligators, at Disney World?

Parents should be smart enough to pay attention to "no swimming" signs and know that alligators live in Florida. Just because it's "Disney" doesn't mean nature stops existing in that area.

The body of the baby snatched by an alligator in Orlando has been found :(

It's connected to larger, open bodies of water via canals and other waterways. Besides that, alligators can walk. Everyone knows gators are a problem in Florida, especially in lakes, ponds, etc. in the summer. Just because a nice resort was built on top of the animal's habitat doesn't mean...

    Alligators, at Disney World?

This isn't Disney's fault. Anyone with half a brain knows that alligators live in warm, Floridian waters along the shoreline. It's an open lagoon connected by canals to larger waterways. Disney can't control what happens in open water. If they wanted to play in water they should have chosen...

    Is denying God moral? (Atheists)

Just curious. It caught my eye because I consider myself a pagan and worship Odin among other Norse deities. Thank you for explaining lol.

Poland planning to institute total abortion ban.

    This is very depressing news.

    Sex-selective abortion

I think if we start telling people that they can't have abortions for reasons like this it sets a dangerous precedent and before you know it abortions for other reasons may be at risk of being banned altogether. I personally do not support the abortion of a fetus because of it's gender, however...

What are your thoughts about reparations for slavery in the US?

I'm not responsible for what my ancestors did or did not do. I've found none in my family line that even owned slaves.

Now that I have witnessed "moral progress" up close and in person: Are we supposed to be impressed?

You're right..equal rights are always pathetic. By golly, it was so pathetic to give women the right to vote and blacks the right to vote and live as well as their male or white counter parts. How silly of us to then extend LGBT people the very same rights and privileges that...

    Is shaving a sin?

No it's not a sin. It's already paid for in my blood, every time I shave at a bad angle.

    Is denying God moral? (Atheists)

It's amoral. A belief or lack thereof in a deity doesn't make a person behave morally or immorally. That said, why are we talking about Odin?

    Confessions of lying

Are you sure you want to post this here? Or were you looking for a Christian-specific answer? If you feel guilty then you probably shouldn't use your phone at work unless it's an emergency. Guilt is natural when you feel like you've done something wrong. I don't personally think it has...
