  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

    Elijah Comes First

Those who rejected Jesus of Nazareth rejected John the Baptist first. Luke 7:28 For I say to you, among those born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he. 29 And when all the people heard Him, even the tax...

The Lord Restores The Tabernacle Of David

The Lord never has nor ever will desire a stone temple for His habitation. This Truth was made clear by the words of Nathan the prophet in response to David's wish to build the Lord a Temple. When David brought the Ark of the Presence to Zion, it was placed in a tent, known as the Tabernacle of...

First John Unction of Fellowship Explained By The Spirit In First Corinthians Fourteen

First John One: 3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ. When John refers to an Anointing from the Spirit, he is referring to our Fellowship, not to any...

Our Gift Is For The Edification Of The Body. Our Edification Is Found In The Body, And The Gifts Of Others

First Corinthians Twelve: 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all. When Timothy was told to stir up the gift given to him by laying on of hands, he was going from traveling with Paul on apostolic missions to Pastoral Responsibilities. I cannot imagine...

    Where Envy And Strife Lead

James Three: 13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. 14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. 15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but...

Whatever happened to "I can do all things in Christ"?

To say I can't do anything without Christ is essentially to say that you won't. What a strange, unrealistic attitude?! What has man done without Christ? Time to realize that you can't do anything truly meaningful without Christ informing you as to His Good, Acceptable, and Perfect Will. How can...

The Strength of Sin, and the Power of Darkness

First Corinthians Fifteen: 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” 55 “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” 56 The sting...

Forgiven, and Set Free From The LAW Of Sin and Death

Romans Eight: 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Notice this does not say we are free from sin, but "the Law". This law is described in the previous chapter. Romans 7: 21 I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one...

Not Saved By Works, Saved FOR Works

Faith By Grace Or Grace Through Faith?

Ephesians Two: 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. Do we grow in Grace whereby we increase Faith, or must we add to Faith to have more Grace? Second Peter One: 5 But also for this very...

Miracle of the Manna Must Manifest In The Churches

2 Corinthians 8: 13 For I do not mean that others should be eased and you burdened; 14 but by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may supply their lack, that their abundance also may supply your lack—that there may be equality. 15 As it is written, “He who gathered much had...

The Parable of Lazarus in "Abraham's Bosom"

The Lord taught three ways 1. He explained doctrine privately to the disciples as they were ordained to receive. 2. He taught in parables to the masses, for they were not so ordained. 3. He spoke shrewdly to those who were devious, and opposed Him. Who was He addressing here? Luke Sixteen...

Has there ever been "a land of Righteousness", or is that strictly future?

Isaiah 26:10 Let grace be shown to the wicked, Yet he will not learn righteousness; In the land of uprightness he will deal unjustly, And will not behold the majesty of the Lord. In the Millennium, the wicked will not learn righteousness. Satan has no difficulty leading them in the final...
