  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

The Church Will Remain; The Papacy Must Fall

The Church Will Remain; The Papacy Must Fall Yes, “we have, other times, had ‘bad popes’”. My conclusion drawn from hearing the passages below is that “yes but….”. The papacy has always had a root problem – that is, concupiscence – that will effect (by prophecy, I conclude) the fall of the...

How was this interpreted for you - did any preacher say, "It is exactly true just as written, because ..."? Or, "It really doesn't mean what it seems to be saying because we all know the sacrifice of Jesus was complete in every way. So It's only trying to say...." Or something else?

    RFK Jr supports Trump

Have any of you followed the move of RFK-Jr to now support Trump? I was struck with his sober rationality in his discernment process. He knew of course he could not win as a 3rd-party Independent, but he remained deeply committed to his national causes that were getting inadequate national...

Today's Church needs to see the Dream God showed to Don Bosco

Fr Charles Murr's book Murder in the 33rd Degree: The Gagnon Investigation into Vatican Freemasonry provides an insight into Vatican politics and practices that I think most Catholics would find shocking and literally unbelievable. A (possibly THE) key to understanding this pontificate

I was greatly helped in understanding Francis in a deeper and (more) reasoned way by the confluence of three papers, which I'll suggest: 1) Pope Benedict XVI's (1st) encyclical Deus Caritas Est, on the (developing) human embrace of Love, 2) the latest Vatican document (DDF's) on apparitions, as...
