    Why pray to the dead?

    Why do Catholics pray to the dead? I'm not bashing Catholicism. This is a subject that I truly don't understand, and that I would like to learn more about. I've done a lot of research on the topic, and haven't seen any biblical evidence for praying to Mary or the Saints. in Christ, Kris
