I would like some sisters in christ to please pray for my marriage. I left him in january of this year. He was very deep into drugs and alcohol. He told me that he had given his life to God. He was attending church and then i found out he was lying to me. He was saved and attended church for 5 weeks and then stopped. In the meantime he has had the wrath of God on him. He has had money and a car stolen from him. he says he loves me. Our son is torn up. He traveled last weekend to arizona to be with us and we went to the church i have been attending. He and i both were baptized. Thank You God. And were filled with the Holy spirit. He again is out doing drugs, drinking and womanizing and lying. Please pray for Satan to leave my husbands life and to restore our marriage. Amen. God Bless

First-- being baptised will not save you. Being baptised just shows that there has been a change in your heart-- that it is nolonger you that lives-- but christ who now lives in you.

The only One who can save you is Jesus-- His blood cleanseth us from all unrighteousness. This is given to you that you may know-- If you have the Son (JEsus0 you have life, if you have not the Son you have not life.

Second-- I shall keep you and your family in my prayers

Sounds like he needs some deliverance. We need the power of God in us to live the Christian life. We can not do it in our own strangth or ability.

Matthew 20:16 For many are called, but few chosen.

Many seem to start the race off fine, but few seem to be able to finish the race set out before them. When Jesus returns for His church and they find themselves left behind, they will wish they had made more of an effort to follow God and to do things His way. Thanks, JohnR7
