Pack fan since the late 80's (like 1989 or so?) - I played the Pack as my team in Tecmo Superbowl (remember those Nintendo games? Or Intellivision for that matter?) and got hooked - Don Majkowski was QB, Keith Woodside was RB, and my favorite player at the time, Sterling Sharpe, catching.

I later married a girl who actually watches football w/ me  & happens to be a Favre fan. The Packers Hall of Fame was a stop on our honeymoon too ;) .

I love NFL and NCAA-I football : Browns, Packers, Titans & Bengals (hey someone has to like the Bengals ;) ) - Ohio State & Tennessee college ball too!

Yeah, baby. My parents have 4 season tickets to Lambeau (one of the things my mother actually inherited from my grandfather's will!!). Since then, I've had a few marriage proposals over the years, LOL!

My mother had actually caught pneumonia about four years ago, from sitting in a below-freezing game in December! Also important to note, they've gone every year for the past 20+ years, so they are TRUE Packer fans, not just "fair-weather- Favre" fans. ;)

They took my husband to a game two years ago, for the first time. He is from SWEDEN, and his idea of an exciting football-championship was the "World Cup Soccer". However, he had a somewhat religious experience when he stepped into Lambeau, and now he is "one of us"....... He can't get enough of the Packers! (Although we still watch the World Cup games, too.).

Yeaaahhhh - I heard a nice little song the other day on a national sports talk show. It went something like this:
Ohhhhhhh the Bears still suck
Yes the Bears still suck
The Bears really really really suckkkkkkk.......

It had a lot more verses, but strangely enough they said the same thing over and over. M

Do you know how to keep a Bear off of your land? Just put up a goal post in your yard... :p

Do you know why a phone call to heaven costs $5.00/minute in Chicago, $10.00/minute in Minneapolis, but only $.25/minute in Green Bay??? Because in Green Bay, it's a LOCAL call. :sorry:

Did you know the Bears are opening a themed-bakery in Chicago? It will specialize in "turnovers".

JUST KIDDING!!!!!!! ;) I told ya I came from a die-hard Packer family, didn't I?

Sorry Obuchiteck....just one more:

What's the difference between the Chicago Bears and a $1 dollar bill?
You can still get 4 quarters from a dollar bill...... ^_^

You must also be a fan of "According to Jim"?? I hate to admit it, but I get the biggest kick out of his show. I love the episode when that brother brought his new girlfriend to dinner, and she announced she was a Packer fan. The whole table stopped & stared at Jim! Too funny! Of course, there was the episode where he got into a fight with a Packer fan at a Bears game, and the newspapers dubbed him, "the Packer-Smacker". ;)

See? We can also be good-natured.....we Packer Backers.

Any self-respecting Wisconsinite MUST love the Packers. I once told someone that we had to take an oath in blood as children.

And while I am now in school near San Francisco, California, I was at the grocery store buying beer to cook some brats that a friend of mine brought from Wisconsin when she came to visit. The beer was Miller Genuine Draft, and a woman behind me in the checkout said, under her breath, "MGD huh?" in disdain. I let the comment go for a while, and then pointed out that a good Wisconsin girl wouldn't be caught buying anything else.

Tecmo Super Bowl is my favorite video game of all time! Just as good as the football games now, and only the A and B buttons to worry about. :D

And yes I'm a Packer fan. Amazingly the first game I ever watched was that game in 1992 when they played the Bengals, and Favre came in after Majkowski got hurt and threw the game winning touchdown pass! So the first time I watched the Packers was the first time Favre showed his magic. I'm dreading the day when our hero will call it quits.

suzq, love yur jokes, i got sum of my own ive heard over the years too. packers training camp news , brb, ok im back

Did you hear that the Post Office just recalled their Minnesota Viking
commemorative stamps? People couldn't figure out which side to spit on.

. A man walked into a bar and sat down for a drink. He noted a dog
intently watching Packers/Bears game. Whenever the Packers scored, the dog
would jump onto the bar and do an animated dance. This happened over and
over as the Packers scored again and again, and at the end of the game, the
dog let out a loud howl and ran out of the bar.The man thought this was pretty unusual and asked the bartender, "Gee that's amazing. What happens when the Bears win?" The bartender replied, "I don't know, the dog's only 4 years old."

Q: What do you call a Minnesota Viking with a Super Bowl ring?
A: A thief.

Q: Why doesn't Iowa have a professional football team?
A: Because Minnesota would want one too.

Q: What does a stolen car and the Vikings have in common?
A: No Title
