16 Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and wonderful results.
It amazed me that when I posted this how many are afraid to confess their sins because of fear of condemnation. This speaks volumes as to where we are as a people of God.
It also was brought to my attention that we don't know what are sins are.
Point it out to us Lord where we are failing you individually so that we may become aware of our sin and deal with it with you. Let us be open to one another and not judgemental knowing we all fall short of your glorious ideal. Let us all pray for one another with true humility that we may be healed.
Isaiah 1:18 Come now, let us argue this out, says the LORD. No matter how deep the stain of your sins, I can remove it. I can make you as clean as freshly fallen snow. Even if you are stained as red as crimson, I can make you as white as wool. 19 If you will only obey me and let me help you, then you will have plenty to eat. 20 But if you keep turning away and refusing to listen, you will be destroyed by your enemies. I, the LORD, have spoken!
Let us not be a people that are ever seeing what you do and never percieving the meaning. Let us not be a people who are ever hearing your words and never understanding what you mean. Let us wrestle and drive at you Lord till we have the truth. Let us come and argue with you so that we may be washed white as snow.
