  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Lambs:

I'm not catholic so I can hardly have a persicution complex :)

I'm just amased at how people will pick and choose who they want to call Christian based on how that denomination appeals to them. Personally I find AOG services repugnant. No order, no structure, nothing but chaos. Does that mean I will differentiate between AOG and Christians? nope. They are Just as Christian as Baptists or YES catholics. Its not about whether or not you like their church or their dogmas but whether or not they believe and confess that Jesus Christ is GOD, that God is Triune, that Christ is both Man and God, that slavation is by grace alone through Christ alone.

There are just as many nominal Christians in protestant churches as there are in catholic churches.

But I don't and neither do my cohorts. We base it off the Bible, God's Word which must dictate a Christians life and what they profess to believe.

Catholicism teaches unbiblical doctrine so I will not accept the TEACHINGS as Christian. As for the people, I do this on individual basis with much care, because I am my brothers keeper.
