The same can be said of "do not take God's name in vain" Ex 20:7

But it cannot be said that these are not commands of God. They are in His own legal code. The one that defines what sin is as Rom 3 says (and so also Rom 7 and 1 John 3:4).

I believe the idea that we can obey the law successfully is a form of Pelagianism, since it implies salvation based on our own energies rather than through willful acceptance in the the uncreated grace of God (or in the case of Calvinists, they would say the reception of grace is involuntary and I’m disinclined to argue with them on this point).

Well regarding the specific example of going out to eat after church, since Christ gleaned wheat with His Apostles on the Sabbath and also the alternative would be the less restful practice of preparing a meal oneself, well, there exists no Scriptural basis to say that any food-collection activity on the Sabbath would be sinful.

Deut 5 says "He spoke the Ten words and added no more"
Eph 6:1-2 says "the first commandment with a promise is Honor your father and mother" (this is only true inside the TEN
Jer 31:31-34 the New Covenant writes God's Law on the heart. The law that includes the TEN that Deut 5 says "God spoke these ten words and added NO More"

Matt 19 when Jesus is asked about the commandments He quotes from the TEN. So also does Paul in Rom 7 so also does James in James 2.

The Temple in Jerusalem was still up and running all the time that Paul was writing and they held that God directed that only the TEN be kept inside the ark of the covenant in that temple.

The Ten are not the only moral laws , but they are the ones specifically singled out not just in Old and New testament but ALSO in "Westminster Confession of Faith" section 19, "The Baptist Confession of Faith" section 19, the Catholic Dies Domini regarding the moral law of God for all mankind, Catholic Catechism on the Ten Commandments... etc

Jesus talked about how if we love him, we will want to keep his commandments.

So some marriage partners regard every day alike. Some have special days.

So it is in people's relationship with God. Some will benefit from having a special day, others will benefit from having all days alike

The second issue is in the abuguity baked into the phrase "keeping" it is an undefined verb and seemes to suffice just to announce that you "keep" the sabbath or any other law for that matter.
But the biggest issue of all is the fact the moralism is consistatntly discussed up stream from Grace and God's perfecting us through Jesus single sacrifice while still making us holy. The fact that I can stand before God as if I have never sinned because Christ stood before him as me seems to be the son we should all be singing.

Jesus Christ forgave Adam's sin and all our sins on our souls at the time we were baptized, as Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:18-20.

When a person commits a sin, God sees it. God sees us as we truly are. Nothing can be hidden from God; he is omniscient.

After our baptism, Jesus Christ will forgive our sins when we repent and confess them; he will remove them from our souls. This forgiveness of sins justifies us and makes us righteous.

Why has circumcision, God's commanded gateway for all males to enter into the first covenant, been made obsolete by the new covenant?

Circumcision was not a forever commandment; it was a commandment for as long as the first covenant was in force.

Circumcision was a result of sin and came after the fall. Circumcision was given through a mediator, never made for mankind.

The Sabbath came before sin at Creation Exo20:11, made for mankind Mark2:27, before the fall and was made directly by God. Its the holy day of the LORD according to the LORD Isa 58:13 Exo20:10 Mark2:28

The first covenant's ark was made obsolete when Mary, the new covenant ark, conceived the Son of God. A new covenant requires a new priesthood with new laws concerning how to worship God. Hebrews 7:12

It is best to let the New Testament interpret the Old Testament because the Old Testament was merely a shadow of what was to come in the New Testament.

Colossians 2:16-18

Jesus' new covenant made the old covenant with its sabbaths, new moon, festival, and dietary laws obsolete.

It is best to let the New Testament interpret the Old Testament because the Old Testament was merely a shadow of what was to come in the New Testament.

Still doesn’t say Mary is the ark of the covenant. Mary was not even born yet, when God revealed what was inside the ark Exo25:21 Exo40:20 1Kings8:9 patterned after the heavenly temple. Heb8:5 Heb9:23-24

You also cut and pasted two verses together. We can literally make the Bible say anything we want in doing so, but then it’s no longer His pure word Pro30:5-6 I guess thats why He tells us not to do this. The women clothed in white are the saints Rev19:8 or God’s true church. The other women/harlot in Revelation represents the counterfeit church. The saints keep God’s commandments, His version Rev14:12 the harlot church changed God’s times and laws Dan7:25.

Rev 11:18-19 is about judgment, nothing about Mary.

I believe you’re taking Col 2:16-18 out of context. This is about something that is contrary and against man. Col2:14KJV, Jesus said the Sabbath was made for man, not against man. Mark2:27 Paul would never teach against Christ, He said in this same passage everything has to be according to Christ Col2:8 and warned not to be deceived of teachings otherwise. God’s Blessings Exo20:11 Isa 56:2 and what Jesus is LORD of Mark2:28 is certainly not against man. It’s a sad interpretation of these verses.

Heb 7:12 tells us the law its referring to in the very next verse and tells us why this law had to change, the priesthood, nothing about the Sabbath in all of Hebrews 7, but all about the priesthood and why this law had to change.
