American consumers have kept the economy afloat for years, even as inflation, high borrowing costs and rising grocery bills squeezed household budgets. But some of the country’s biggest corporate leaders are now warning that shoppers may finally be hitting a breaking point.

“They’re literally running out of money at the end of the month,” [Kraft Heinz CEO] Cahillane said in a recent interview (1). “We’re seeing negative cash flows in the lower-income brackets where they’re dipping into savings.”

As the bible says, the borrower is slave to the lender. This is clearly a good thing for the irresponsible poors as enslavers look out for their property, helping them learn skills for their benefit, and would never work them to death or anything silly like that.

Trump says ‘I love the inflation’ after consumer price index hits 3-year high​

President Donald Trump on Wednesday said, “I love the inflation” after being asked if he was concerned about new consumer price index data that showed the annual inflation rate at 4.2%, a three-year high.

Trump, speaking with reporters in the Oval Office, also predicted that inflation is “going to come down like a rock” after the United States’ war against Iran is over.

“Affordability? What are you talking about?” he spouted. “I’m gonna go there tomorrow. ... I’m gonna get me a couple of big lobster tails. I’m gonna get me some nice ribeyes.”

Nehls then explained that he planned to gorge on the fancy foods while “celebrating the greatest president in my lifetime, Donald J. Trump,” and insisted the current increase in energy costs is “temporary.”

A reporter then asked if the “60% of Americans living paycheck to paycheck can also afford lobster tails and ribeyes and all of that,” and Nehls gave a response that was straight out of a campaign ad ― for the Democrats.

“Maybe not. Maybe the 60% of Americans don’t work as hard as I do either. I mean, I don’t know,” Nehls said.

“You have 4 percent inflation here. Live in the real world. So, you younger people, you got to get into the stock market,” he added.

“My portfolio is doing great because Trump is — his policies appeal to the big companies, but 40 percent of Americans don’t participate in capitalism, and a lot of them are yowling about high prices? Come on,” O’Reilly said in a Monday episode of his “No Spin News” show.

I have just been informed that one of the biggest, best, and smartest Retailers in America, Walmart, will be lowering prices, by a lot, at my Administration’s request to celebrate our great Country’s 250th birthday,” he wrote on Truth Social. “Walmart will, in particular, be dropping the price for a pound of ground beef by almost 15%, among many other products.”

Yeah, Walmart is having a sale on summer staples—and their announcement said absolutely nothing about giving Trump any credit for it.

I mainly eat chicken. I believe its better for you. Than red meat. Of course that for me. As for eating liver, No. I was forced to eat liver when I was a kid. I don't like liver at all. Maybe, the people in the White House should do their job. And make food affordable.I like to eat vegetables. And I noticed vegetables are going up.

I also was forced to consume liver as a child.

I tried it as an adult and found it to be delicious. (It’s like the bestest hotdog you ever had!)
Calf’s liver ‘round these parts goes for ~$7.00/lb; we have it about ten times per year, slathered in caramelized onions and a side of pierogi & sour cream.

I see no reason to buy liver. But, I'm sure liver will get more expensive. When demands go up.
