  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Chad to join raft of withdrawals from International Criminal Court

Chad becomes the fifth country to withdraw from the ICC recently amid rising US pressure and accusations of bias.

The military government declared on Monday that Chad had begun the process to leave the court, which prosecutes war crimes and other violations of humanitarian law and is based in The Hague in the Netherlands.

Chad’s Foreign Ministry shared a statement on its official website saying that the decision to quit follows a request by Washington.

Chad’s decision follows neighbouring Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger, which also have military governments.

[US client state[?] Venezuela is the fifth.]

Birds of a feather flock together.

And I LOVE the folks that are flocking to the US. It's strange how the richest country can still be such a huge loser.
The USA has always been in favor of international cooperation (but only when that meant “be reasonable you other countries and see things the U.S.’s way!”).
