Peace in Christ.
We hear the Word of God preached in the truth and receive it as such.
This is the imperishable Seed that keeps us imperishable in this age as we shall not mortally die but shall have an age-lasting life for this current age.
We receive the true Word of God…the Word of Truth…and believe in Him who preaches it. We hear His voice and retain that imperishable Seed in our hearts which effectually works in those that believe.
It keeps us “living and remaining” INTO THE AGE.
1st Peter 1:23:
being begotten again, not out of seed perishable, but imperishable, through the word of God -- living and remaining -- into the age;
The “word of men” on the other hand is the preaching of the Word of God in error. It is the “perishable seed” that many are keeping.
The man-based churches are all preaching in error….wresting the Scriptures to their own mortal destruction. Their “private interpretations” of the Scriptures is NOT saving the flesh of any one who retains their “seed” in their hearts. MANY are mortally perishing by the receiving of the word of men…the perishable seed.
No flesh is being saved in any man-based church (which is organized by their church handwritings: statements of faith, church constitutions and by-laws, creeds, etc).
1Th 2:13-14 KJV
(13) For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
They…the man-based churches….organized religion (which is structured upon man’s handwritings of ordinances/dogmas)… will NOT BELIEVE in what they hear Him preaching…His interpretation of the Scripture of Truth.
Our own “countrymen” will persecute us for believing His interpretation of the Scripture of Truth over their “private” erroneous interpretation of the Scriptures.
(14) For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:
We shall be persecuted by members of our own “household”…our own church that we attended. A man’s foes shall be THEY of his OWN HOUSEHOLD.
Mat 10:36-40
(36) And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
But we are to love Him who speaks to us the Word of Truth more than they of our own church family who are preaching things in error of the understanding of the Scriptures and will not believe in the Word of Truth when they will hear it. If we love our pastor ("father or mother") more than Him, we are not worthy of Him. The church leader who loves his congregation more than Him is not worthy of Him.
(37) He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
In this context, we are take up our cross….our stake…and follow after Him. We are to pull up our stakes in the man-based churches and follow after Him who leads us out of them. We are no longer to be fixed in them but leave it all behind and follow Him out of the man-based churches who are living in error of the Truth.
What does a believer (of the Word of Truth) have in common with the unbelievers (who will not believe in the Word of Truth and will seek to keep their man-based church teachings and commandments of men).?
(38) And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
We are to lose our life…that is, soul….for His sake.
We are to lose what we had once thought and cherished (the man-based church ways and thoughts) in order to gain the excellency of the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(39) He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
Isn’t that what Saul/ Paul did?
Php 3:6-10 KJV
(6) Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.
The religious things that he once was very zealous for …the things that he had thought were gain…he counted as a loss for Christ. He did lose his soul in order to gain it.
(7) But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
He counted all those previous religious things as a loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus our Lord. He suffered the loss of all those things and did count them as dung so that he may win Christ.
We are to do the same.
(8) Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
Saul/Paul did not go about defending his own “righteousness” which for Paul was of the Law.
We also must not be found of Him trying to defend our own works of righteousness which is mandated by our church denominational handwritings of ordinances/dogmas that we once held onto as “truth”.
We are to count all of the man-based church things as a loss….losing one’s soul..by the faith of Christ…believing in what He says. His knowledge that we hear is Truth while the man-based church “truth” is false.
(9) And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
(10) That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
If the “world”…the orderly arrangement of the man-based churches…organized religion…hates you, know that it hated Him before it hated you. The “religious” people persecuted Him back in the day…and the same things will happen to us today when we believe Him over them.

(18) If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
He chooses us out of the world…the orderly arrangement of the man-based churches. We come out from among them….pulling up our stake in them and follow Him out of them. It is expedient that we go away from them….following Him out. The world….the orderly arrangement of the man-based churches…will hate us for it.
Those who will not pull up their stakes out of them and follow Him out of them are not worthy of Him.
(19) If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
They will hate us and persecute us for believing in Him as we hear His Word and keep it.
(20) Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
We know God by having love. Those who do not show love do not know God for God is love.
(21) But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.
But we overcome them. We come out from among them and be separate.

They that are of the world…the orderly arrangement of the man-based churches…speak of the world and the world hears them. The unbelievers (of the Word of Truth) in the man-based churches will continue listening to their church leaders who preach from the spirit of error.
(5) They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
They will not hear the Word of Truth preached in the Spirit of Truth but will continue to listen to their false prophets and follow after their false teachers who will teach and lead by example in doing evil towards those who will believe in what they hear the true Christ preaching. We know God when we keep His commandment to have love fore one another. Love is of God and every one that loves is born of God. Those who are born of God will hear and believe the Spirit of Truth when they will hear it.
(6) We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
The unbelievers will not show love towards one who will preach the Word of Truth. They will not be of God because they will not show love towards the brothers who will come preaching the Word in the Spirit of Truth to their hearing ears.
(7) Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
(8) He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
But those who are born of God will show love towards the brothers who come preaching the Word of Truth to them. They will not sin….speak evil of them.
Those who will commit sin…doing unrighteousness against what they hear Him saying and those brothers sent to preach His words…are the children of the devil.

(7) Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
The Son of God comes to give them an understanding of the Scriptures…and they react with evil words and deeds in their unbelief of what they hear Him preaching. They that commit sin is of the devil as they will not do righteousness towards Him. They will choose what He does not delight in. The wicked ...the tares...will reveal themselves as they will hear the Word of Truth and will behave badly towards it.
(8) He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
But whosoever is born of God will not commit sin for His Seed (the Word of Truth) REMAINS in him. The believers will hear and retain it and will do well towards it. He cannot sin against the Truth because he is born of God.
(9) Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
(10) In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
