  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

its quite simple, Jesus' broken body is the exit clause of the abrahamic covenant.
I agree. However, I do think that, in Romans, if not elsewhere, Paul explains, sometimes cryptically, exactly how what happened to the cross incorporates the fulfillment of Israel's unique mandate to be a blessing to the nations.

And since Israel has fulfilled its role, it's status as a special people is now over.

I believe the overall biblical narrative teaches us that Israel has fulfilled her role in God's redemption plan, and is therefore no longer "special" in any sense. In defense of this view, I will assert that many people incorrectly view scripture as a series of timeless pronouncements rather than an evolving narrative.

I believe that Paul's argument in the New Testament is that, through the effects of the law of Moses, Israel took upon itself the full power of evil before that power was focused on Jesus on the cross were evil was dealt with.

And therefore, sin and evil having been dealt with, Israel's job has come to an end.

I fully concede that much further explanation is required in order to elaborate/ justify / defendwhat I am claiming.
  • The Apostle Paul's Teaching: In Romans 11:28–29, the New Testament states that regarding election, the Jewish people are still loved because of the patriarchs (Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob) and that God’s gifts and call are "irrevocable".

  • Unconditional Promises: Proponents argue that God made unconditional covenants in the Old Testament (such as with Abraham in Genesis 17:7) that do not depend on human perfection or belief to remain valid.

  • A Future Restoration: Many interpret passages like Romans 11:25–26 to mean that ethnic Israel's current hardening is only partial and temporary, and that God still has a specific future plan for the nation.

  • Facts: Every world power in the last 4000 years has to tried to crush them all of them were either destroyed or if they do exist they have knwo real world power any more. It would almost make you think that some power had there back.
Finally read your revelation The Book of Revelation highlights specific Jewish groups and symbols, most notably the 144,000 sealed from the tribes of Israel and the symbolic architecture of the New Jerusalem. Though many Christian's interpret these passages differently depending on their views of Bible prophecy. I think Judgement day is gonna have a lot of disapointment for those who claim there Christian but have a problem following the most basic of Christ's teachings

I think we can agree there.

for what its worth, there are only approximately 144K messianic Jews alive in the world today. that includes all ages male and female.

so either we need to wait a long time for 144k male messianic jewish virgins to show up, or its not litteral.
