Peace in Christ.
God calls us unto His kingdom and glory.
1Th 2:11-14 KJV
(11) As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,
(12) That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.
We hear His Word and receive it as the truth....in belief of what we hear.
This is in contrast to the hearing and receiving of the “word of men” who wrest the Scriptures unto their own mortal destruction.
We have all heard the “word of men” when we attended the man-based churches. Their "word" is not true. Their “word” does not satisfy. Their “word” does not save.
(13) For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.
The man-based churches will not receive the true Word of God and believe and will persecute any who will….just as they did 2000 years ago. The unbelievers will instead seek to cling on to the "word of men" that they have heard of all of their lives being preach to them. They will hear and not believe in what they hear....His Word of Truth.
But we who will hear and believe will suffer like things as they did by our own “countrymen”.
(14) For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:
Like Abraham, we are called out from among them. We are to get out of our “country” and from our kindred and from our father’s house. We are to leave the man-based churches…the church fathers’ houses… we are a part of. We shall be persecuted by our own “countrymen” for doing so.
Gen 12:1-4 KJV
(1) Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
We shall also inherit the promises made to Abraham.
(2) And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
(3) And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
(4) So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.
They...the man-based churches... will not believe in the Word of Truth when they will hear it. We are to come out from among them and be separate. What do we who believe in the Word of Truth then have in common with them who will not believe?
2Co 6:14-18 KJV
(14) Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
(15) And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
(16) And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
This is the “holy” (to be separate for our sanctification) commandment we are not to turn away from. This is the way of righteousness. This is the narrow way that leads to life. This is the way of the truth. The way of the truth shall be evil spoken of by those we leave behind.
(17) Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
(18) And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
The narrow way that leads to life will have obstacles as many will persecute us for receiving the Word of Truth as preached by Christ. The unbelievers will cling on to the “word of men”….their denominational teachings… and will behave badly towards those who will receive the true Word of God.
Heb 13:10-16 KJV
(10) We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.
(11) For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
(12) Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.
But we are to go unto Him outside the “camp” bearing His reproach when they persecute us. We are not to return evil for their evil…doing good. By doing so, we share in the sufferings of Christ. His blood shall cleanse us.
(13) Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
(14) For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
(15) By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
(16) But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Their “fiery trial” of us shall try our faith but do not think it strange for this to happen. The unbelieving (of the Word of Truth) man-based churches will try our faith in that Word. We are not to return evil for their evil. We are then made partakers of Christ’s sufferings.
1Pe 4:12-17 KJV
(12) Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
When we made partakers of His sufferings, we shall also share in His glory that shall be revealed through us to the people of the outside world.
(13) But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
(14) If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.
(15) But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.
(16) Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
(17) For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
Our own “countrymen”…our own unbelieving church brothers…shall hate us for receiving the testimony of Christ and leaving them rather than staying put in their churches and continue receiving their “word of men” that they will continue preaching.
They will mock us: “let the LORD be glorified”.
But He shall appear to our joy and they shall be ashamed. We shall manifest His presence to the people of the outside world while they are excluded from having His presence…His glory.
Isa 66:5-6 KJV
(5) Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
(6) A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.
They will choose that which He does not delight in. They will have “chosen their own ways” and will delight in their abominations. They will take pleasure in their unrighteousness as they will persecute us for the receiving of His Word of Truth and all the while thinking that they are doing God "service" for behaving badly. There is no such thing as "righteous anger" as the wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God.
They will choose to do evil before His eyes instead of answering His call. He calls us to His kingdom and glory but they will not answer it. They will not hear when He speaks His Word to them.
Isa 66:3-4 KJV
(3) He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
(4) I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
The unbelievers of the man-based churches will listen to their false teachers who will being in destructive “heresies” for them to choose. The Greek word for “heresies” is “hairesis” -From G138; properly a choice, that is, (specifically) a party or (abstractly) disunion. (“heresy” is the Greek word itself.): - heresy [which is the Greekord itself], sect.
False teachers will bring in destructive CHOICES for their congregations to choose…teaching them to choose their destructive ways. MANY will choose their destructive ways….choosing to do evil before His eyes. They will follow after the examples of their false teachers...choosing to do so willingly. They will not know that they are choosing destruction that their false teachers secretly bring in for them to choose.
2Pe 2:1-2
(1) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in destructive heresies (CHOICES), even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
MANY will follow after the destructive ways of their false teachers and will speak evil of the way of the Truth which is to come out from among them and be separate.
(2) And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
We are to escape from them through the FULL KNOWLEDGE of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Do not be deceived by them as they will want you to return to their "churches" and be overcome. Do not turn away from the Holy Commandment: to come out from among them and be separate and not be attached to the unclean. This is the Way that leads to life. This is the way of righteousness. This is the way of the Truth that they will speak evil of.
2Pe 2:19-22 KJV
(19) While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.
(20) For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
(21) For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
(22) But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire
God calls us unto His kingdom and glory.
