  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Trump is Only angering them, and escalating it faster.. Liberal lefties, simping for Palestine. Who is in charge, here?.

What I think is not as well understood in the White House is that you can seldom prevail in an ideological war through conventional means, especially when the adversary can fight asymmetrically.
How long do you think it's going to take for the Right to grasp that? The big flashy mechanized conventional warfare they understand had a big win in WW2, and as it was starting to lose its luster, got another boost in Gulf 1. Is one successful conflict every half-century enough to maintain the fantasy?

Let's put it this way,.. In America, in a rock n roll band, it's the lead singer who is always the jerk.. Generally speaking. And, in America American women tend to gravitate, towards the lead singer. Yet, somehow the majority of them are voting in favor of Islamic communists. Tell me again, who's the jerk of America, and who and what is leading us rn..
Most women, naturally gravitate towards the jerk. Yet, somehow they believe that Palestine might be a great place. Make it make sense. Because it doesn't. America
Tobelievehim,
You mention "Islamic communists" several times in this thread. I'm not sure there is such a category. I assume you mean Mamdani, the New York City Mayor. Socialist is certainly not the same thing as Communist. What does Mamdani actually stand for? He wants city buses to be free. I recently visited Athens, GA. Guess what? The city/county buses are free. When you get on a bus, you don't have to worry about having the right change with you, or having a bus token, or having an up to date fare card. Tourists can use the buses with no hassles. This is espcially important in a college town like Athens, home of the University of Georgia. Taxpayers pay for this bus service, of course. Yet Georgia is a low tax state.

If you think there is too much traffic congestion (and crazy drivers), the people riding the bus aren't driving a car, or a SUV, they aren't causing traffic jams and they are not taking up parking spaces. Why are people so against the city or the county paying for bus service? I pay a lot of taxes and it is nice to see the money spent on a result that I can see.

It has its place, but it's not suitable for every situation.

When fighting a conventional war there is no one that can beat the US, but the moment it becomes a protracted war that isn't won by simply using thousands of cruise missiles to hit anti-air, command & control, supply lines and manufacturing etc then it just doesn't work nearly as well, because that assumes an enemy that has self-preservation in mind. When fighting the likes of Hamas et all, they're more than prepared to die whilst hiding behind a child because at least the cameras get some good PR.

Is the barrel they have us over a barrel of oil?
Well, "The smaller vessels on the AFRA scale, the General Purpose (GP) and Medium Range (MR) tankers, are commonly used to transport cargos of refined petroleum products over relatively shorter distances, such as from Europe to the U.S. East Coast. Their smaller size allows them to access most ports across the globe. A GP tanker can carry between 70,000 barrels and 190,000 barrels of motor gasoline (3.2-8 million gallons) and an MR tanker can carry between 190,000 barrels and 345,000 barrels (8-14.5 million gallons).

I'm glad that polls don't rule over any POTUS.

No, i wasn't referring to him, specifically. Most people who vote in favor of liberal policies, Also vote in favor of Muslim terrorism, Mamdaninis a prime example.
Liberal women, Who are Not returning to Christianity are gonna get us All killed!

I am for the amendment, and at the Same time I'm Not! Candace Owens also has, Credible evidence and Credible questions.
The entire Middle East, sounds like is a sham.
Judaism, however And Israel law, Does allow for American way of life, Safer than Iran.
This should be obvious

Liberal women somehow are looking at illegal immigrants, and women wearing hijabs And seeing that as empowering. They're gonna get us All killed!
I am for America, and I am for the amendments But, I would almost give up My right to vote, and civic duty in this case.
And that will also, get us All killed!

Once again, I'm having trouble following you.

1. You seem to be asserting that Mayor Mamdani is an example of "Muslim terrorism". That's a serious charge. Can you name some violent acts that he's been involved in? His policies for New York City may or may not be good ones; we'll have to see. If his policies are bad ones, maybe the taxes will end up being too high, or maybe some local businesses will struggle, and those are bad outcomes. But neither one is terrorism. What is your specific accusation against him?

2. "I am for the amendment, and at the Same time I'm Not": Which amendment?

3. I'm a Liberal woman, so if I'm about to get us all killed I should probably act differently in some way. I do not vote in favor of terrorism, Muslim-sponsored or otherwise (again, that's a serious accusation). I did not vote in Mayor Mamdani's election at all, as I do not live in New York City. I think the situation in Israel and Palestine is complicated, and I hope they find a path to justice and peace. I treat my Muslim students and colleagues with respect, regardless of whether they wear a hijab. I also treat my international students and neighbors with respect. (I support a number of policies that are actually the ones that make me identify as Liberal -- policies regarding the environment, civil rights, and social services, but you didn't mention those.) So, which of these points is going to get us all killed?

Despite Trump "poking the bear" I think the bear was already growling and ready to attack. Its in the nature of the ideology. If you notice much of the Palestinian protests is aligned with anti US and western culture. That had already been brewing for sometime.

It stems from a revolutionary mindset where the ultimate objective of any revolution is to rise up with violence and bring down the establishment. That has been the case for all our history. It just so happens that the Islamist and all other marxist groups happen to have a common enermy.

But I think its even deeper than that and is a spiritual war about how the world is and what order it should take. The rise of marxist ideology has risen since the rejection of God. Its a human made version of how the world is and should be seen through the lens of oppressor and victims.

So its really a perfect storm that has happened and I don't think it was ever going to not happen.

Trump has not created this as its happening all over the world. Trump may be straight forward and even antagonising towards this rising ideology. But then many before him have sat back and remained quiet which has also allowed the ideology to grow and become so prominent.

But its not just over Palestine and rather the conflict is across many fronts such as womens rights verses trans rights, DEI verses verses meritocracy, women verses men ect. It has been cultivated over decades and has not just come out of the blue.

Even average people who stand against such ideology are being labelled like Trump and others as Nazis and have to be stopped with violence. Simply just disagreeing can now get you killed. That is on the radical activists and no excuse for blaming others. It is born out of an ideology that was always going to end up becoming violent by the very narrow view of the world and reality.

In fact in some ways just speaking the truth is enough to antagonise some. The battle is often over free speech and radicals want to shut down speech and freedoms. That is in the nature of the ideology which is itself subversive and antagonising.

We all knew that at some point we would have to stand up to the radical Islamist who are now creeping onto our doorstep. Sometimes standing up for the truth means bringing about a confrontation because that is the nature or truth and lies. Christ said that standing with Him on the truth will make the world hate you.
